Mirah Yom Tov Zeitlyn, currently living and composing in Brooklyn, New York, began writing and performing in Olympia WA in the late 90's, the epic heart of the Northwest independent music scene. Her debut album was released by K Records in 2000 and she has since released a dozen solo and collaborative albums and e.p.'s on K Records, Kill Rock Stars and various domestic and foreign independent labels. Her new solo album, Changing Light, years in the making, was produced by Mirah in conjunction with a revolving team of collaborators and will be released this coming spring.

A dedicated genre-defier, Mirah's songs and recordings have always pushed towards transcending the technical limitations of lo-fi and the assumed boundaries of independent music. Though known mostly as a solo artist, Mirah has always sought the creative company of unique collaborators, from multi media artists to orchestral composers to dance music re-mixers. With lyrical poise and unabashed emotional honesty remaining at the center, Mirah is dedicated to incorporating innovative instrumentation, art and beautiful thoughts of all mediums into her work.

If Leonard Cohen and PJ Harvey had a baby who grew up listening to The Smiths, Nina Simone and old Rolling Stones records, that baby might form a band that sounds like DIVERS, a newly formed rock quartet from Philadelphia starring local sweethearts Emily Ana Zeitlyn (The Weeds), Ross Bellenoit (Birdie Busch), Tom Bendel (Buried Beds) and Todd Erk (Hoots & Hellmouth). DIVERS use equal parts stabbing lyric, extreme dynamic and darling melody to whisper to the sadder side of your soul. With one recording so far (a free download at) DIVERS plan to record a full-length album this fall and will continue to play locally this summer.
