Unique in its musical arsenal is the inclusion of oud and percussion blended with more traditional rock elements such as guitar, bass and drums. This fascinating fusion, combined with dramatic and powerful live performances have garnered Viza significant success all over the world.

Recorded by Jared Gosselin (D12, Macy Gray) at Frank Zappa’s UMRK Studios, Viza’s fifth album, “Carnivalia” is the band’s most animated work – a journey through a symbolic theme park derived from satirical and dramatic influences. Inspired from Gogol Bordello’s multicultural rhapsodies and System of a Down’s notorious screams and riffs, Carnivalia embodies Viza’s groundbreaking songwriting and experimentation which has amazed audiences with a mesmerizing blend of instruments, various styles and continued evolution of Viza’s sound.

In September 2012, Viza will embark on its second tour with System of a Down frontman Serj Tankian for his “Harakiri” World Tour, a nearly 6 week endeavor featuring 19 performances all around the world. In 2010, Viza also supported Tankian’s "Imperfect Harmonies" Tour in Europe in the cities of Hamburg, Cologne, Paris, Zurich, Bologna, Athens and Yerevan. “Loving the new record; Carnivalia’s awesome. I love hearing the new influences and the fun loving spirit and musical wizardry. Overall a really great effort,” said Tankian. “Viza is one of the most unique and interesting bands I have ever encountered. Their live shows are energetic and fun,” he added. Tankian has worked extensively with the group, serving as Executive Producer of Viza’s previous album entitled “Made In Chernobyl”, and also sang as a guest vocalist on the album’s “Viktor” track.

Formerly known as Visa, the band released two EPs and two full length albums, along with a award winning music video. The band's De Facto, Eros and Made In Chernobyl albums incorporated music pervaded with sonorities from various influences and musical styles and blended elements of aggressive rock, dance and satirical social commentary.

Among the band’s extensive touring schedule, Viza has performed at one of Europe’s largest and most prestigious music events at Hungary’s Sziget Festival’s mainstage (alongside Korn, The Killers, Axwell, The Vaccines, The XX among several others) as part of a month long European tour in August 2012. Viza has also performed at Sweden’s Malmofestivalen, Norway's Kartfestivalen, Slovenia's Schengenfest and Trnfest and Greece’s Rockwave Festival (alongside The Prodigy, Gogol Bordello, Flogging Molly, Marky Ramone’s Blitzkreig), and has toured Europe 6 times in the past 2 years alone.

Demonstrating a knack for reinventing old rock classics, Viza recently covered the Doors tune "Alabama Song (Whisky Bar)" by adding its own strong seasonings and aggressive fusion style in a compelling reimagination of this classic rock ballad. The song is available for free download here and will be featured on Viza's upcoming tour with Serj Tankian.

Aside from a passion for music, touring and song writing, Viza’s extensive performances around the globe also serve as their voice for promoting social consciousness of human rights and community issues – as well as providing opportunities to fundraise for various charities, homeless shelters and orphanages. oud and percussion blended with more traditional rock elements such as guitar, bass and drums. Chameleon Conductor

Chameleon Conductor is a Los Angeles based band that blends the eclectic sounds of its members into their unique brand of “cocktail rock”. Their cryptic and dynamic live shows capture the eyes and ears of a wide spectrum of audiences.

The band has performed at renowned venues such as the El Rey Theatre, The Key Club, The Roxy, The Whiskey A Go Go, and The Viper Room as well as shared the stage with Wu-Tang Clan, Mix Master Mike, The Apex Theory, Money Mark (Beastie Boys), members of System of a Down, and others. They have also had their music featured in the 2011 independent film "Voice of the Unknown: A Paranormal Investigation". The band caught the attention of Shavo Odadjian (System of a Down) who took the role of producer and streamlined their sound.

Soon after, vocalist Vino Alan (X-Factor finalist) joined Chameleon Conductor and together they entered the studio with producer Shavo Odadjian and engineer Florian Ammon (Mariah Carey, Rammstein, U2). A three-song demo was completed in the spring of 2014.
Since then the band has performed at renowned LA venues like El Rey Theater, The Key Club, The Roxy, The Whiskey A Go Go, and The Viper Room as well as shared the stage with acts such as Snot, Mix Master Mike, The Apex Theory, Wu-Tang Clan, Money Mark, Viza, and members of System of a Down.
With a live show that features special guests as well as visuals, Chameleon Conductor’s sound is one that evokes the influences of its members from across the musical spectra—fusing them into a fresh, soothingly aggressive sound that is completely their own.
The band is releasing their debut EP, entitled “Pings Home” (produced by Shavo Odadjian) at this show!

The Danes

The Danes started in 2011 in LA as a side project that unintentionally became serious.

The band now lives together in a humble apartment in Burbank, California.

Vots

Formed in the Summer of 2009, Avo, Daniel, and David have been rocking out with their cocks out. After playing instrumentally for several years we found a singer that melded with our style perfectly. We welcomed Andre with open arms into our loving family.

Daniel: After picking up a guitar at the age of -4, his unique style is influenced by his uncle(his dads sisters husbands brother), Shahen Hagopian from The Addicts, and his private teacher Jeremy Bieber(no relation). He can now shred on anything that has strings.

Avo: Saw a drumset at the age of 2 and wanted to jam. Got a piece of shit set at age 14. Couldnt play it for the first 2 months because he didnt know how. Then he started groovin'. After deciding that he needs lessons, he began to study at The Academy of Arts and Music, in North Hollywood. That is where he met his drum teacher Art Andranikyan. Avo began to take private lessons from Art. With strength and dedication, he got a shit load better. With 2 years of training under his belt, he assisted in the foundation of this band.

David(Chode): Born and raised in California, he grew up listening to his dads old records from the 50's. He picked up a guitar at the age of 10. He progressed with chords, but never really got into it. With the formation of the band, he traded in his guitar for a bass. No regrets. He sucked at first, but after Daniel taught him a few scales, he began to get awesome. Now he slaps da bass

Andre: Also known as Dro. Swiss born and raised in Whales. Man whore at the age of 2. Sang for a couple of other bands, but didnt have enough drive to get up and going. Met Daniel at a summer camp a few years and recruited him as a singer. Mostly influenced by metal, but we have turned him to alternative rock and he digs it. But heavy metal will always have a special place in his heart.
