Dan Krikorian

Southern California folk/pop singer/songwriter Dan Krikorian has a distinctively wholesome, reflective nature that has always allowed him to see the beauty in life. This perspective is reflected in his musical style, defined by a cinematic blend of poetry and melody. Recently, Krikorian completed a successful European tour, opened for notable artists in the US including Eddie Money, Foo Fighters and ALO among others, and wrote the new theme song for his hometown of Costa Mesa, CA for their 60th anniversary. Now, Krikorian prepares to independently release his fourth full-length album, Bloom, on December 10, 2013. The album was recorded in Los Angeles, CA at Nourse by Northwest Studios and co-produced with Shawn Nourse, former drummer for Dwight Yoakam.. Bloom was loosely inspired by author Daniel Wallace’s novel, Big Fish (later turned into a film directed by Tim Burton). Throughout the album’s writing and recording process, Krikorian and Wallace met and formed a bond, which led Bloom to develop into the artist’s own story of growth. Bloom explores the search to find “home,” which at times can be a place, a person, a feeling, or a mixture of things.
