World-renowned, critically acclaimed Lucent Dossier, the live, electro dub performance experience birthed in the heart of the LA's underground art and music scene. They have captured the love of their diverse audiences creating a cult like following of fans that dress up and play along with the show. From their explosive beginnings to performing, touring and/or sharing the stage with icons such as the Black Eyed Peas, Motley Crue, Panic! at the Disco, The Flaming Lips, Cindy Lauper, David Guetta, The Crystal Method, Christina Aguilera and more they continue to innovate what is possible in the music scene.
They released their latest and heaviest musical production 'Gateway' on December 21st, 2012. Lucent Dossier (whose bigger shows, that include an interactive environment, are billed as Lucent Dossier Experience) have been recognized as the underground pioneers of an artistic revolution sweeping the globe.
Lucent's unique fashion and their wild, completely innovative style of performance can be seen woven in the hip cultural landscape that has enchanted the mainstream of America and the world. Their other worldly staging is the perfect back drop for their orchestral musical stylings that are both melodic and heavy. They blur the lines between many genres and make it looks fun and easy. In short Lucent offers a permission slip to the crowd to get wild, let loose, play and express themselves.
For this their fans return over and over. Lucent Dossier has received recurring praise for their shows at Coachella (8 years), the Grammy Celebration (3 years), and Electric Picnic Festival in Ireland (5 years). Their year long, SOLD-OUT weekly residency in LA brought them an almost cult like following with fans lining up around the block to experience the ground breaking event. Superstars such as Johnny Depp, Scarlett Johansson, Ringo Starr, Lindsay Lohan, Calvin Klein, Paris Hilton, Jessica Biel and more arrived on a weekly basis. They have been featured on networks including BRAVO, VH1, MTV, Telemundo, on shows such as Top Chef, The Kardashians, Paris Hilton's My New BFF, SCREAM Awards and more and have been hired by Warner Brothers and Universal Studios, Hollywood.
They have spun magic performing for and/or with Dr. Dre, Scooter Braun (Justin Bieber), Nikki Sixx (Motley Crue), Wes Borland (Limp Bizkit), Joe Walsh (The Eagles), Elon Musk (Tesla Motors, SpaceX) and more. They have been photographed by Steven Meisel for VOGUE and praised in SPIN, KERRANG!, Washington Post, NBC News, Los Angeles Times, The Huffington Post and more.
They have recently done a series of SOLD OUT headlining events at the oldest surviving Orpheum theatre in America and newly renovated Palace Theater on Broadway in Downtown Los Angeles and an OVER SOLD run at the oldest surviving Vaudeville Theater in America, NYC's Liberty Theater in Time Square. Their Private Party in series in downtown LA has SOLD OUT continuously over the past year in LA. They are now ready to hit the road and spread their fun and love across America and the world.
Love and Light
After a highly regarded and reputable 2011 summer festival tour---including a smashing Saturday night headlining set on the "Bamboo Stage" at Lightning in a Bottle, an adrenalized performance at "The Hive" directly after Tipper on Saturday night at The Bounce Festival, and two four-track EP's that have both landed themselves in the top 5 of Addictech's yearly charts for 2010 and 2011---Love and Light are opening the flood gates full force with the fall release of their full length album, Galactic Booty Activation. Containing nine tracks of savage, squishy, funkadelic thickness, the album promises to turn heads, move bodies, and fiercely uplift peoples' state-of-mind on dance floors across the globe. Although this full length album will drop in the fall, the boys have been hard at work in the lab creating another sonically saturated release, planned for the first week of 2012. Not to disappoint, the boys have also released a 5-track FREE remix EP in conjunction with their album, including remixes of The Doobie Brothers, Prince, Justin Timberlake and Madonna, and Muse which is available in high quality audio format at www.loveandlightmusic.com.
In the midst of completing a 20-stop U.S. fall tour, Love and Light are far from finished in 2011. The duo are heading to the Land Down Under to Headline the acclaimed "Deliverance Festival," which in 2010 housed some of bass music's best producers and live acts, including iLL Gates, Opiuo, MiMOSA, Eprom, and Ana Sia. Following completion of their tour in OZ, the pair are heading back to the states for their annual "Love and Light Christmas" show in Denver and a currently undisclosed New Years Eve location. The entertainment, however, does not stop there. Love and Light will be spending the better part of January on their first Canadian Tour, with stops in bass music hubs such as Toronto, Edmonton, Calgary, and BC, leading them back into the U.S. in February for an anticipated West Coast and Midwest tour, finally spilling the boys into Costa Rica in March to Co-Headline "Envision Festival."
Being only a year-and-a-half old, Love and Light Music has quickly moved into the hearts of tens of thousands of people, with a world-wide fan base spanning over 150 countries. Whether you are listening on your speakers at home or dancing on a jammed packed dance floor with your closest friends, it's clear that positive intention and a selfless, deeply rooted desire to uplift humanity to a higher state of consciousness sparkles out of both the speakers and the hearts of the duo.
