Ghosthouse is an electro-funk/synth pop duo from the windy city. Distinguishing themselves as a hybrid of current pop and classic dance and funk hits with their own quintessential throwback cool, Ghosthouse has a sound that reverberates every cell of your body and implements a dress code to your dance music.
College roommates: Jimmy Con and Chuck New are seven years deep into collaborating with eachother in multiple projects. Jimmy Con, a Detroit born producer and lyricist, found his style listening to electro while keeping an ear on pop music and anything 80s. Singer/ Keyboardist; Chuck New draws his roots from classic R&B and Soul while inspired by synth legends. The combination gives you what you need in the club and what you want in the bedroom.
Known for their presence on stage and ability to move a crowd, Ghosthouse throws the party where everybody gets down.
A resident of Chicago, Colin Rebey better known as PHENOM has hit the ground running. In just less than a year, Rebey has moved quickly in establishing residencies at some of the most highly populated clubs in Wicker Park, Wrigleyville, and downtown. He currently maintains 5 weekly residencies playing all genres and fulfilling the needs of any of his crowds whether it be the upscale downtown dinne
rtime crowd at Hub51 for his Friday residency or something a little more full throttle such as his 10pm-5am high energy sweat soaked Saturday night residency at evilOlive, one of Chicago's most talked about venues.
Phenom has toured throughout the midwest and has hit both coasts taking his show on the road for crowds extremely pleased with his intertwining of genres.
This year he has shared the stage with national touring acts including A-Trak, MSTRKRFT, Laidback Luke, Nero, Dillon Francis, Boys Noize, Wolfgang Gartner, Mt. Eden, Dirty Loud, Lucky Date, The Killabits Kreayshawn, Derrick Carter, Flosstradamous, Wale, Sir Michael Rocks and VIP J (The Cool Kids), Tennille, Raekwon (Wu Tang Clan), Million Dollar Mano (Tour DJ for Kanye West), Drop The Lime (Trouble And Bass), Sammy Bananas (Fools Gold), DJ Zebo, Willy Joy (Trouble And Bass), Deathface on the Fall Of Man Tour in Louisville Kentucky (Trouble And Bass), Hollywood Holt, and many more weekly!
DJ LA Jesus
LA*Jesus has pagan roots. Actually, he was given birth in the form of a Halloween costume! Inspired by the enthusiastic response from folks he encountered, the wearer of said costume, Nate Euhus, continued making public appearances as his theistic alter ego. Before long he found himself part of the onstage menagerie of characters flanking indie-rock superstars The Flaming Lips on their 2003 tour. These experiences-of-a-lifetime were capped off by a cameo appearance in The Fearless Freaks, a documentary film about the band.
Seeking to expand upon his new persona and, at the same time, satisfy a growing desire for a new means of artistic expression, Nate added the letters "DJ" to the front of his holy moniker in 2005 and started spinning music both ecstatic and introspective. A copy of his first mix CD, "Stranger To The Sun, You've Seen The Light!", successfully made its way to Blackalicious emcee Gift Of Gab, who was so captivated by this genre-crossing aural adventure that he made an inspiring late-night phone call to the unsuspecting super-fan, offering his props and thanks for being included in the mix.
Since these exalted beginnings, DJ LA*Jesus has become an irrepressible party savior, appearing alongside a plethora of notable bands, DJs and performers over the years including LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy, Gogol Bordello, List Christee (aka Kevin Barnes/Of Montreal), Flosstradamus, DJ Lady D, Lyrics Born, Yacht, Ghosthouse, and many others. He can be found several nights a week at his adopted home base, 694 Wine & Spirits in Chicago, Il.
