Born and bred in the likes of: Alkaline Trio, Face To Face, Bayside, The Offspring, Teenage Bottlerocket, Blink 182, MXPX, and Bad Religion the lamplighters have sculpted a truly original punk sound using a bit of the old a new school.
They’ve played out at venues such as: Melodies (Milkboy Coffee) cafe – Ardmore, Rusty Nail – Ardmore, The Grape Room – Manayunk/Philly, Gunner’s Run-Philly, The M Room – Fishtown Philly, Lansdale Music Factory – Lansdale, The Fire – West liberties Philly, Otto’s Shrunken Head – NYC.
They have recently released a live 6 song EP recorded live at the University of The Arts entitled "Live... 16 Stories High". You can hear these songs and more live at a show or via the internets.

Polar Ice Cap
Polar Ice Cap is a West Philly based rock band that's been around for a few years now. They just put out their debut album, State Lines, a few months ago. Check them out if you like noisy indie pop stuff.
Formed with a genuine concept of blending Dylan-esque songs with blues-driven driving guitar, Hopscotch Jefferson balances an eclectic selection of music with memorable lyrics and questionable morals. A Philadelphia-based group formed in the summer of 2012, Hopscotch Jefferson may be relatively new to the music scene, but handles the stage with all the composure of veteran performers.
Chet got into the saxophone as early as 4th grade. Since then, he's played the Scranton Jazz Festival two years in a row and played a number of other great jazz gigs. He's studied privately with Marko Marcinko, jazz drummer for the late Maynard Ferguson, and Jim Buckley, a professional saxophonist from the Scranton Area. He's taken classes with Phil Woods, Bob Dorough, Dave Leibman, and many other jazz greats.
As far as rock music goes, he's shared the stage with Less Than Jake, Mayday Parade, The Spill Canvas, The White Tie Affair, Person L, Drop Out Year, Endless Mike and the Beagle Club, Bayside, I Am the Avalanche, Dr. Manhattan, and countless other national acts. He's played well over 100 shows in over 10 states (and counting). He played Warped Tour 2009, The Knitting Factory in NYC, Penn State's Movin' On Festival two years in a row, Steamtown Original Music Showcase, and many other great rock venues.
Chet is currently working on his first solo album, "We All Walk Fast and Nod in Unison", due to release sometime in the spring 2011. Stay tuned for updates!
