Mindset Evolution is a hard hitting five piece active rock band from Peoria, IL Featuring Rob Ulrich (Vocals),Joey Gibbs (Drums), Skyler Baer (Guitar), Bradley Prentice (Guitar), and Josh Bodeen (Bass). Mindset Evolution formed in 2005 and has grown over time into the powerhouse that it is today. Having been featured at Vans Warped Tour and working relentlessly in their home region of the Midwest, they have developed a strong fan base that has put them on top of over 5,300 bands nationwide as the victors in the Best Buy Music Gear Battle of the Bands. They have been compared to and shared the stage with bands like Seether, Hinder, Puddle of Mudd, Breaking Benjamin, Trapt and Saving Abel. With an EP recorded with producer Jay Baumgardner at NRG Studios in N. Hollywood and a spot on the Rockstar Uproar tour on the way, this band is poised to take the nation by storm with its ultra high energy performance and sweeping melodic hooks. True Becoming is an original rock band from Mt. Carmel, PA. They've been supporting the release of their first EP "The Fight" (available on ITunes) since summer of 2011 and are currently working on a new full length album due out sometime in 2012. The track "Like Falling" has received airplay on several terrestrial radio stations in PA such as 105.7 The X, Y 106.5, T102, and WZZO as well as several internet radio stations and podcasts.
The band has been known for putting on great shows with special attention to performance and production quality. Their live shows are unlike anything most local artists are capable of.
Performing with bands like Fuel, Candlelight Red, and others. As well as winning several contests and "battles" since their formation, they are rapidly forging ahead with compelling songs and engaging performances.
Dixie Duncan (born April 3, 19something) is a multi-instrumentalist and composer from Atlanta, Georgia. He began playing piano at age 4, drums, trupet and trombone at age 12, and guitar at age 14. He has since picked up (at least to some extent) many other instruments including but not limited to volin, cello, and bandura. After recording and touring with numerous rock bands from 1995 to 2006, he wrote and recorded his debut solo album, "Lost in te Shadow of a Dream", which was finally released on 4-20-12. Dixie is currently touring and performing not only as a solo act, but also with The Dixie Dncan Band, and perhaps some guest appearances with....other bands.... Check dixieduncan.net for tour dates.
