HËSSLER is a Chicago based female fronted heavy metal band boasting a deadly twin guitar attack. A musical and visual roller-coaster created to ignite your soul and seduce your mind. Word and sightings of their explosive live performances are quickly establishing their place in today's music.
In April 2011 HËSSLER released "Bad Blood", their first EP, and have since put out three music videos.
A new full length album "Comes With the Territory" was recorded in the fall of 2012 by Chuck Macak at Electrowerks Music Production; a December 2012 Southwest tour is in effect in support of a late November 27 release.
HËSSLER has shared the stage with: W.A.S.P., Cinderella, Steel Panther, U.F.O., Loudness, Sebastian Bach, Dokken, Skid Row, Warrant, Lizzy Borden, Blaze Bayley (Iron Maiden), Gilby Clarke (Guns N Roses), Sister Sin, The Last Vegas, All That Remains, Otep, Obsession (featuring Mike Vescera), Bang Tango, Enuff Z Nuff, Trixter and performed at SXSW 2012, Rocklahoma 2012, playing right before Slash, as well as Summerfest 2012 in Milwaukee (the biggest music festival in the world).
"Truculent Void is a melodic death metal band of 5 seasoned musicians. We enjoy being on stage. Commanding respect with brutal riffs and technical solos with high energy stage presents."
Manifest started back in 2009 with lead vocalist and songwriter Mellisa Zaccaria and well known independent singer/songwriter Jaime Redden. The two collaborated and began writing music and performing acoustically at local venues in the North Shore of Massachusetts.
Long time friend and drummer, Jonathan Morse, joined forces with the band, and shortly after, introduced Steve Duff on bass guitar. Then in March 2011, Berkley grad, Dave Lorden, came on board as the band's lead guitarist bringing along with him Garth Retallack on trombone.
Manifest encompasses a plethora of styles and would be short changed by being characterized as alternative rock, independent rock or pop music. Even though the band utilizes these elements, it's fair to say that this group of musicians have made a name for themselves and create music with superb musicianship and an energy that grabs audiences every time.
Manifest is fund raising to help cover the costs of producing their first Mastered EP and also mass producing copies. They also are in need of promotional stickers and t-shirts, a web page, and they are currently playing with an ancient PA system.
Recently, Manifest has been selected to record an EP with former Live Music Coordinator at Emerson College Radio Station 88.9FM, WERS, Michael Davidson. Davidson owns and operates his own self titled recording studio in Brighton Ma. and has recorded national acts such as Regina Spektor, The Slip, Mieka Pauly and Ryan Montbleau. Manifest is very excited about the opportunity to record with such a well-known and experienced recording artist.
Manifest plays popular venues in the Boston area such as Hard Rock Cafe, TT The Bears, Oliver's at Cask n' Flagon, and The Middle East Night Club.
Shock The Junkie
Shock The Junkie is a post-grunge/alternative trio that was put together in the beginning of 2011 by guitarist/vocalist, Brandon Dull and drummer, Ben Endris. After a few months of searching, they crossed paths with their soon-to-be bassist, Nick Kostielney, who would complete the act. Based out of St. Louis MO, their mission is simple.."Make great music and expose it to the world." That may sound a little extreme, but with the combined talent of the three, along with their fierce determination, you can rest assured that they are not going to stop short of that. Although Shock The Junkie has only been together for a little over a year they have already recorded a four song demo and developed a unique, stand-out sound that has earned them opening slots for national rock groups Smile Empty Soul, 12 Stones, Taproot, and Parabelle. They are currently writing new material and playing shows in search for the fan base that will prove to any record label that they deserve to be on tour, playing at the next level. For STJ music is not only a passion, but a lifestyle..
