The members of Sleep Well do not sleep well. If you are also having problems sleeping, they recommend melatonin, warm milk, and buying all of their stuff.
The members of Sleep Well were brought together by forces of cosmic intervention, who, in their great wisdom, knew that the combination of these four souls in songwriting orgitude would result in music that the world truly needed to hear.
They've been collaborating since sometime in 2012.
They play out regularly in the Denver area, and are currently recording their first LP.
Sleep Well functions as a collaborative songwriting collective. At the beginning of every band practice, they partake in an ancient Native American ritual which allows them to combine their consciousnesses so that they become one unified super being. Once unified in super being-ness Sleep Well writes music.
Sleep Well's music is heart felt, and genuine. Their lyrics have been said to be "like if Shakespeare had Bukowski's liver, and this liver had insomnia, and wrote when it couldn't sleep." Their music forces you to look at life square in the eye, and say "what up," and get to know it a little better. They manage to combine stark seriousness with a vaguely bleak sense of humor. The result is sometimes wry, sometimes sarcastic, sometimes inspiring, sometimes unrepentantly joyful, but always beautiful; just like you.
Brave Song Circle
Brave Song Circle features multi-instrumentalist Lauren Gale and Dustin Morris. Their harmonies are full, their instruments are plentiful, and their spirits are alive with the power of love. They came together through Dustin's full band project, Dustin Morris and the Songbird. While rehearsing for a gig, Dustin and Lauren decided to share some songs. They quickly realized there was something very special between them. That special something became Brave Song Circle.

Benson the Dog
Will and Ben started performing together when they were in middle school. Their debut was in 1998, when they sang "Blue Moon" and "Earth Angel" and Will's parents' 25th wedding anniversary. Their paths diverged when they chose different high schools, and ended up living very different lives. 12 years later, with a little help from social media, they reunited and began making music together. One night while drinking cheap beer and writing songs, Will came up with the conjoining of our names "Benson", and shortly after added "the Dog".
Most of BTD's music is inspired by relationships of yore... predominantly of the dysfunctional persuasion. At first, Ben was hesitant to venture into matters of the heart when it came to songwriting (he was in his "stick it to the man" political phase), but was won over when they co-wrote their first song "Roller Coaster Love Blues". In addition to turning Will's plight into aural entertainment, BTD constantly seeks new creative avenues in their lyrics and music. They have written nearly 20 songs, and are just getting started!
Benson the Dog would like to thank everyone who has supported and encouraged them on their musical journey! Your love is our fuel to keep going!
Smashy Claw is a three-piece band from Denver, CO that specializes in experimental alternative rock. Influenced by acts like They Might Be Giants and Jonathan Coulton, their goal is to hook you in with their catchy melodies and interestingly-layered orchestration. Then once you’re humming along, you start to notice that the lyrics are about things that you’ve never heard in rock songs before, like talking pet rocks, for instance. Often including the obligatory distorted guitars of most rock music, they have been described as “Green Day with better lyrics” by Brian Rezac, director of the legendary Dickens Opera House venue.
The band was formed in April 2011 by bassist Austin Aeschliman and guitarist Nathan Long. In summer 2012, drummer Dave Frey would join and fill out the group. An assemblage of young, consummate musicians, the members have achieved much in their early career. In addition to being played on national radio programs such as The Dr. Demento Show, they also have written the theme song for the Nerdapalooza music festival. The trio is currently working on their 16 track debut studio album Former Spine (to be released in the summer of 2013).
