E-40

With millions of records sold, nationwide sold out shows, loved by both the streets and respected amongst his peers, without question E-40 continues to reign supreme. Empowering a familiar cliché that states, “If it’s not broke, don’t fix it” the Revenue Retrievin’ series continues and the most underrated rapper returns with two brand new albums entitled “Revenue Retrievin’ Graveyard Shift” and “Revenue Retrievin” Overtime Shift.” March 29, 2011 will mark the release of the 15th and 16th albums from one of the biggest rap artist to come from the west coast. Artists T-Pain, Tech N9ne in addition to E-40’s bay area conglomerate Guce, Black C of RBL Posse, Laroo, Turf Talk, Cousin Fik, J. Stalin and The Click all grace the forth coming albums. E-40 and his son Droop-E who also raps and produces will once again share Executive Producer credits on both albums.

Adam Traore is the brainchild behind Bay Area rap phenom A-1. First generation American, half Italian, half Senegalese, A-1’s roots run deepest in San Francisco. But his emotionally charged rap lyrics—social critique set to a beat—reverberate beyond his raw testimony of the Bay. Underneath his funny, party-ready anthems is a message from the future on how people can evolve into THURLIANS, a positive incarnation of the post-modern human.

The success of his debut album The Book of Adam and it’s successor, the THURL tape got him notable praise on Complex, Fact Magazine, Hypetrak, Noisey, Stereogum, and The Fader, among others. A-1’s genius isn’t just in his musical prowess and agile lyrics; laced with originality and his energetic but unassuming demeanor, A-1’s videos have made the Internet his personal fanboy. Unrestricted by medium, A-1 has headlined sold out shows at the Bay Area’s most popular venues and taken his transmedia style to the stage with hip hop legends Souls of Mischief, E-40, Too $hort, Andre Nickatina and Wallpaper.

Armed with an arsenal of pure passion and his ever evolving team of Thurlian’s, A-1’s latest mixtape will make heads turn and proceed to bob when it drops in fall 2014.
A-1’s latest mixtape isn't just the next party anthem, it’s your introduction to the evolution of THURL.
