Hosted by Brooklyn-based comedy favorite Wyatt Cenac (The Daily Show, King of the Hill), Night Train show features comedy from the best local and international stand up comedians, and--at times--special guest appearances by musicians, local celebrities, and the occasional surprise only found in Gowanus.

Mark Normand

Mark Normand was born and raised in New Orleans, LA, where at an early age he was exposed to the odd sides of life. As a kid he spent most of his time acting in plays and shooting short films. Mark started doing comedy right after college and quickly moved to New York. Mark now works comedy clubs and colleges across the country and has been involved in many festivals including Portland, Seattle, DC, Boston and most recently was featured at the Montreal Comedy Festival. Mark also recently appeared on the last season of Last Comic Standing. In NYC Mark now runs two independent comedy shows, one of which is recorded for a popular podcast called 'We're all Friends Here' on

Larry Murphy

Larry Murphy began performing standup comedy in 1997 at the Comedy Studio in Harvard Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Soon after he teamed up with Brendon Small. Together they performed sketches & Rock Operas until 2001. Murphy is a voice actor renowned for his versatility. He voiced all of the main characters on the Adult Swim comedy series Assy McGee and has lent his voice to several Soup2Nuts animated shows including O'Grady, Home Movies, Comedy Central's Ugly Americans, and Word Girl. He voices Teddy in the animated Fox series Bob's Burgers. He has also appeared as a sketch actor on Late Night with Conan O'Brien and has a recurring role as "Jay the Doorman" on the Adult Swim live-action series Delocated.

Sam Morril

Sam Morril is one of the fastest rising comics in New York City and is also one of the best joke writers in the scene today. How do you know that's true? Because he is writing this bio, and he wouldn't lie about it to get extra work. He performed as a New Face at the 2013 Just For Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival and was recently featured on AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live. Sam has also appeared on The Artie Lange Show on DirecTV and MSG’s The Bracket. He won March Madness 2010 at Comix, has performed at a Friars Roast and was featured in a 4-page spread in the Daily News as "one of the four funniest in New York". He then won the Laughing Skull Festival in Atlanta, beating out over 600 applicants. Sam was named a 2011 “Comic to Watch” by Comedy Central. His comedy can be heard on Sirius XM radio, and you can see him regularly at all the best clubs in New York City. Come see Sam before his ego gets too big to do small rooms.

Phoebe Robinson

Stand up comedian and writer Phoebe Robinson recently made her television debut on TV Guide’s “100 Shows to See Before You Die.” She was also a finalist in NBC’s Stand Up for Diversity competition and was a part of their college tour, which traveled the USA. She has performed in the New York Underground Comedy Festival, Bridgetown Comedy Festival and for the second straight year, she appeared in the Women in Comedy Festival. Phoebe has also appeared on Sirius XM’s Raw Dog Comedy Show, in The Daily News, the NY Post as well as on The Smoking Jacket and Rooftop Comedy websites. Her writing has been published in the New York Times and most recently, she became a blogger for the Huffington Post. Jason Burke

Jason Burke is a New York comedian who can be seen performing all over the city and on national commercials. Jason played three months of college basketball and ingloriously quit, finding time to focus on comedy well after barely graduating. His energetic and captivating style pulls the audience into his world, as they go on a journey into his psyche on a search for his absentee, moped-driving cokehead father. Jason still finds time to play basketball between captivating the hearts of strangers with his good looks and writing excellent bios.
