Fairy Bones

Recently the Phoenix New Times named Fairy Bones "Best Local Band" in 2015. They called their music one of the "10 best things" heard in Phoenix in 2013 and 2014. Java Magazine says, "Chelsey’s voice is a goddamned sonic spectrum of wonder."

Fairy Bones formed in early 2013 when singer/songwriters Chelsey Louise (vocals) and Robert Ciuca (guitar) teamed up with brothers Matthew Foos (drums) and Ben Foos (bass) and combined their talents to create a style of rock and roll all their own.

In 2013, they released their self-titled EP on 80/20 Records, Echo Magazine said their first single, ‘Like Like,’ "should be on everybody’s shortlist for best single of the year." In 2015, they successfully crowdfunded their debut full length, “Dramabot” (80/20 Records), recorded and produced by Bob Hoag (The Format, The Ataris).

Fairy Bones has played 200+ shows since 2013 including an official CMJ Showcase, toured the Southwest extensively, and opened for Alien Ant Farm, Mother Mother, Kongos, PYYRAMIDS, and Hell or Highwater. They will share the stage with Beck, Kid Cudi, Animal Collective, Gary Clark Jr. and more in 2016 at the McDowell Mountain Music Festival. Their singles have notably been spun on KWSS, KUKQ, and NPR.
