DRIFTS: Com Truise LIVE SET (and last residency), with Aeon Rings & Kodacrome

Com Truise is one of the many personas of producer and designer Seth Haley, born and raised in upstate New York and operating out of a 12'-overrun apartment in Princeton, New Jersey. An admitted synth obsessive, Com Truise is the maker of an experimental and bottom heavy style he calls "mid-fi synth-wave, slow-motion funk".

Haley's been making music on the side for roughly a decade—going through pseudonyms like toothbrushes (Sarin Sunday, SYSTM, Airliner)—first as a DJ, and currently, as an excavator of softer, window-fogging synth-wave.

From meeting in Brooklyn in 2011; Davey Partain and Chuck Flores soon became fast accomplices in what soon became Aeon Rings.

Melody and intensity are the primary factors that set the mood for Aeon Rings outstanding live performances with imagery reminiscent of Blade Runner, Tron, and the soundscapes to match. All while giving a big nod to sounds that reflect Clan of xymox, Depeche mode as well as Ladytron and other electronic pioneers.

With a seamless blend of hooks, melodies and dark intensity. They’ve been welcomed by a vast range of audiences.

Kodacrome is Elissa (vocals, synth) & Ryan (synth, electronics). The pair crafts fragmented pop with a warm electronic pulse, featuring swells and lead lines which ring from synths and throats, alike. Elissa & Ryan share a deep love for melodic composition, as well as the gorgeous dynamics of analog electronics, and always aim to strike a balance of songwriting and synthesis.
