Our Name Is Jonas (Weezer Tribute Playing The Entire Blue Album)

Our Name Is Jonas (Weezer Tribute Playing The Entire Blue Album)

Hitting the ground running in April 2011, Our Name Is Jonas is Chicago's only Weezer tribute band. Just because they are the only one doesn’t mean these guys are mediocre. All 4 members of the band are veterans of the local Chicago scene and have been playing music in various bands for over a decade. The idea for a Weezer tribute band spawned in 2004 when 3 of the 4 members performed a set as Weezer as part of the annual Halloween show at Double Door. Just like the 7 years the world waited for Weezer to release a follow up album to Pinkerton, it took 7 years for Our Name Is Jonas to finally come into fruition; and it was well worth the wait.

Playing a wide variety of hit songs from Weezer’s popular debut The Blue Album up to their most recent release Hurley, Our Name Is Jonas is sure to rock your Superman skivvies off. If you love Weezer, you'll become infatuated with Our Name Is Jonas. They not only sound exactly like Weezer. They ARE Weezer. When you go to an Our Name Is Jonas live show expect nothing less of the full Weezer experience. From their extremely authentic =w= sign serving as the backdrop to every show to their authentic "Buddy Holly" cardigans, attention to detail is a priority in the band. Having performed The Blue Album from front to back at their very first show, Our Name Is Jonas has already conquered Pinkerton as well. More than a just a fad, they continue to satisfy Weezer fans across the Chicagoland area.

Don't Speak (A No Doubt Tribute)

Don't Speak non-apologetically owns the stage as they whip into highly energetic frenzies - skanking through every show while loyally producing every note, lyric and cadence. Fans of No Doubt, wait no more; the ultimate live experience is here!
