Two Fisted Tango
Many of Two Fisted Tango's songs center around both mainstream rock, and classic punk. Sonically they draw inspiration from the Clash, the White Stripes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and the Black Keys.
Local Denver musicians Shawn Duncan, Alejandro Parra, and Joey Boots are the creative force behind Two Fisted Tango. All accomplished in their own right they began playing music together after several previous bands. They stitched together all their interests and styles and two days after their first encounter, a full band emerged.
They have played in the best venues in Denver including Summit Music Hall, Walnut Room, the Marquis Theater, Hi-Dive, Three Kings Tavern, Larimer Lounge, and many more.
The single, Brit Punk Rocka, has been played on 93.3 KTCL, and been included on several compilation albums.
‘MONKEY FIST’ is West Metro’s Retro Rock powerhouse. Led by Vocalist: Jerry Murr and supported by Doug Hutchinson (Guitar), Dave Lesage (Bass)and Jim Dorschel (Drums). Their infectious music is addictive fun that will buzz around your head for hours. Certified 100% West Metro.
‘themumbles’ are an almost all original, Denver based ‘Power Pop’ band that has been performing for several years, throughout Denver and Nationally on occasion, for several years. Mike Berg (Guitar), Jim Dorschel (Drums), Pete Salvador (Guitar) and Jon Panek (Bass) are excited to be a part of this first effort. xo
TODD INGLE is a talented, singer songwriter performing his own compositions with humor and humility. This is a rare, and highly anticipated performance, by a unique and talented performer.
'Bands for Brothers' presented by Fire Fighters Fighting Cancer is a Charitable Benefit on behalf of West Metro Fire Fighters battling the toughest fight of their lives. It is an opportunity for our fire fighting family and friends to support the people we love. It’s a chance to come to the aid of those that rush to the aid of others. All the bands and contributors have a West Metro Fire connection and are honored to contribute to this important cause. 100% of the ‘door’ and all raffle proceeds will go to help establish a fund to be distributed to our people when they face the challenge of cancer. (and we ain’t paying the bands either). $10 donation at the door.
