Trapt

Trapt is an alternative band from Los Gatos, California. The band formed in 1995, after meeting in high school, with members: Chris Taylor Brown (vocalist), Simon Ormandy (guitarist), Peter Charrell (bassist) and David Stege (drummer) and recorded the albums 'Amalgamation' and 'Glimpse' to sell at local shows. After several rehearsal absences and negative feedback the band decided to let David go. While attempting to find a suitable replacement, the band signed to Warner Bros. Records and began recording their debut self-titled album. The band enlisted Robin Diaz, to perform drums on the record, and in turn Robin, helped the band find their permanent drummer, Aaron Montgomery.

On November 22nd, 2002, the band released Trapt, along with the single "Headstrong". "Headstrong" became a fantastic hit, reaching #1 on alternative charts and #16 on pop. Follow-up singles "Still Frame" and "Echo" (with a video featuring Michelle Trachtenberg) did respectably, although they never reached the heights of "Headstrong". "Headstrong" became the official theme song of WWE Bad Blood for June 2003. Trapt eventually hit platinum. After more than one year an EP followed on March 30th, 2004, that included a new song called "Promise" along with live versions of "Made Of Glass" and "Echo".

On September 13th, 2005, the band released their sophomore album "Someone In Control" along with the single "Stand Up". "Stand Up" failed to do as well as any of their previous singles, although it still made an excellent run on active rock stations. "Waiting" and "Disconnected (Out Of Touch)", were also released as singles, and have yet to repeat the success of any of Trapt's self-titled radio hits. The band spent the first half of 2006 co-headlining with Shinedown as part of the Equinox Tour.

A live album was released in September, 2007, containing live tracks from both previous albums with new studio tracks "Stay Alive" and "Everything to Lose".

Trapt hit the studio in July 2007 to begin recording their 3rd album, which was released on 5th August 2008 named "Only Through the Pain…".

Trapt announced in late fall/early winter 2009 they were working on a new album for summer or fall release in 2010. On July 20, 2010, Trapt released their first single "Sound Off," for the upcoming album "No Apologies," due out in stores October 12, 2010. Updates, along with an EPK, for the upcoming album is available on their Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube (official trapt) accounts.

Devour The Day

Formed in 2012, DEVOUR THE DAY is born from the brain trust of Joey Chicago (Bass, Vocals, Songwriter) and Blake Allison (Lead singer, Guitar, Songwriter and Producer). Having much success with the band Egypt Central, Blake and Joey sought to break out on their own, writing and producing music without compromise.

Joey explains, "Our lives got to a point that we had lost trust, we lost our
compassion, feeling and our way." The water was so murky we didn't know which way was up." What we did know is that we should keep writing and keep fighting because that was the truth and our center."

What transpired is a new album scheduled for release May 7, 2013.
Painting a picture in listeners imagination is what this songwriting duo does best. Joey continues, "While our songs are very personal to our experiences we are very aware to keep it open for interpretation. There is nothing more gratifying when a fan explains how our songs help them in their lives. It's humbling."

Giving perspective Blake states, "the process of writing this record is something totally different than what we had done before. The pressure was enormous and we felt that every decision we made needed to be perfect. There was no room for mistakes. We needed to make choices that were sometimes very difficult but once made it felt like the weight we had been carrying got lighter brick by brick."

Look for DEVOUR THE DAY to hit the road in early 2013 in support of their new album.

Righteous Vendetta

For many in the heavy music scene, Righteous Vendetta needs little introduction. With two full length records under their belt along with numerous tours with a show history just over 800 shows in the past 4 years, Righteous Vendetta has amassed fans in the US and abroad while honing their performance skills to a fine edge. The Wyoming-based group's tight, technical brand of metalcore has earned them a great deal of respect as well as publicity, with features in publications such as HM, Amp, Hails and Horns, and AP. Most recently, they embarked on a European tour with veterans Spoken and Inhale Exhale, hitting half a dozen countries across central and eastern Europe. Meanwhile, Righteous Vendetta's single 'This Pain' spent 15 weeks in the top 20 on Billboard's Christian Rock chart, achieving commercial success rarely seen by bands who cut their teeth in the hardcore and metal scene, while also signaling a new creative direction for the band's upcoming release. Look for new material from Righteous Vendetta in spring 2013.
