Gone Quite Mad

Gone Quite Mad

Gone Quite Mad is a heavy-hitting, Brooklyn-based gypsy blues rock & roll quartet. They marry towering lead vocals, enthralling rhythm, flourishing harmony and rapturing guitar work with a tumbling groove that is all but impossible to ignore.

With a core that formed in Virginia, GQM have relocated to NYC and have been performing at notable venues such as Joe’s Pub, Public Assembly, The Studio @ Webster Hall, Piano’s and The Bitter End. In 2013, they released their self-titled debut LP “Gone Quite Mad,” written and produced by the band and engineered by Ted Young (The Hold Steady, Sonic Youth, Kurt Vile, The Rolling Stones).

Gone Quite Mad is:
Christopher R. Gesualdi (lead vocals, lyrics)
Nicholas A. Pascarella (guitars, supporting vocals)
"Renegade Willis" Mr. Joe Kruse (bass, upright bass)
Caleb "All-Time" Spaulding (drums)

The Ibex is a wild goat characterized by the splendor of its re-curved horns. It's also a band! Bluegrass in it's arrangement, the band features both Eli Taylor, and Jason Loomis on guitar and vocals, and Giancarlo Sutton on banjo and vocals. Ibex started when the three friends gathered and shared their visions of americana. Each member his own vocalist and songwriter, the band set off utilizing the individual character of their voices to make songs with focused harmonies and compelling stories.

Following most closely in the footsteps of Crosby, Stills, and Nash, Mumford and Sons, and Ryan Adams, Ibex constructs it's songs on the foundation of folk and layers them with variably bluegrass and indie influences. Taking turns at writing and direction, their songs range in their style, complexity, and intensity, allowing each member's thumbprint to emerge and juxtapose fluidly with the others.
