Fulah (Foo-lah) is the vibe created by inspirations of life, love, happiness, sadness, hope, anger, fear, pride, pleasure and pain that resides in the members of the band. They are a rock band with heavy reggae, jazz, soul, and funk influences. The band consists of Paul Garcia (Drums), Frank Vasallo (Guitar/Vocals), and Branden DeCaso (Saxophone); along with a keyboardist, percussionist, and horn section. They have played many venues throughout South Florida including Jazid, Tobacco Road, The Stage, Bardot, Bougainvillea's Old Florida Tavern, Churchill’s Pub, Electric Pickle, among others.
Fulah is currently putting the finishing touches on their first album. The self-titled album “Fulah” will feature a variety of original tracks, produced by the members of the band themselves. The sound is carefully arranged with groovy bass lines, funky drums, smooth vocals, twangy guitars, and some stanky sax. Fulah delivers a fresh sound that always draws a positive response from a steadily growing fan base.
