Jacksonville, FL/Augusta, GA based singer/songwriter, former member of Don't Sigh Daisy.
Corey Kilgannon has spent the past three years touring throughout the US and Europe, performing on stages in imitate settings and concert halls. Regardless of the stage Corey is about sharing and building relationships. One thing he’s learned throughout his travels is that there is power behind every word and every note he sings. On his latest release, Hospital Hymns, Corey explores his faith through songs he's written in some of the most trying times of his life.
Hospital Hymns is a compilation of songs with which anyone who has ever questioned their beliefs can relate. These are some of the most intimate and humble lyrics Corey has ever written, which is evident in every facet of the record. Deeply personal, Corey's Hospital Hymns was born out of of pain, turmoil, distrust and feelings of betrayal. It's his transparency in this collection of songs that makes Hospital Hymns arguably his strongest release.
To date Corey has self released a full length album titled "Let Go" and the EP "The Hollow"; which was featured by Noisetrade and Brite Revolution. In the first two weeks of its release "The Hollow" surpassed 2,000 downloads. Additionally Corey's music has over 10,000 individual streams on Spotify and his Youtube videos have almost 80,000 combined views.
New indie rock band, Moonrise Collective, quickly blossoming from its professional infancy into a vibrant adolescence of creative explosiveness, mixes deep purpose with whimsy and childish absurdity. Pulling from influences as far-reaching and interesting as Vampire Weekend, Paul Simon, Peter Gabriel, Imagine Dragons, and Louis Armstrong, the fluid-membered group formed by singer/songwriter Patrick Taylor is a shining example of familial worldliness. The band's hard-hitting jungle rhythms layered with bright, springy guitar and soaring synth leads, topped by energetic gang vocals juxtaposed against songs of heartbreaking sensitivity, depth and honesty all make their upcoming debut EP a short-but-poignant journey into the “collective” mind of Patrick Taylor, Charles Reid, Alex and Brea Lefler, Andrew Lefler, and producer/drummer Sam Taylor. Recorded over 5 nights in a century-old cathedral in Cincinnati, Ohio, these raw-but-tight recordings are full of spacious sounds and intricate arrangements. Set to release in mid-October, Patrick will promote the album with an eastern seaboard acoustic tour alongside singer/songwriter Adam Sams. Look out for these powerful songwriters and performers in your town this fall; they're sure to entertain and enlighten.
Jenni Reid is a twenty-two year old musician from Jacksonville, FL who has loved music since a young age, watching Elvis movies and putting on concerts in her back yard very frequently as a child. Jenni started to take her career seriously when she graduated high school in 2009 by teaching herself to play guitar and write lyrics to some of her most popular tunes today. She is strongly influenced by classic artist such as Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash, crediting them for much of her style. She began playing shows around Florida opening for a number of notable artist such as Tyler Hilton, Dion Roy and Ryan Cabrera. Jenni even appeared on Hilton's hit CW TV show One Tree Hill in its final season in 2012. Another shining moment with Hilton happened at his concert in Gainesville, FL when he invited Jenni on stage with him later in his set to sing one of his hit songs "When The Stars Go Blue" originally by Ryan Adams. Hilton and tour mate Roy invited Jenni to come north to play multiple shows with them on their tour. In Spring of 2013 Jenni went on a mini tour with well known artist Josiah Leming and also played a sold out show with pop-star Aaron Carter. At twenty-two years old she displays not only raw talent but soul not usually found in such a young musician. The foundation of her music is based on emotion and metaphors, writing all her lyrics and music herself. Jenni has released one full CD, Stories To Tell and a Holiday themed EP. While Jenni's career has just in some ways begun it's not hard to see how successful she has been already. Her brand new album From Empty Pages is out now on iTunes and Jenni's online store.
