Kill Paris began his journey into music composition at age 16 learning how to play the guitar, which soulfully reflects in his Future Funk style and bass guitar riffs in his music today.
After receiving his recording arts degree in Florida, he moved to Nashville, TN, the heart of Rock/Country in the U.S. and produced for and performed with several Country music bands/singers. But it was his attraction to electronic music composition that led him into the heart of Los Angeles, California where he currently resides today.
In the summer of 2012 he began to receive attention from some well-known EDM blog sites, testifying his undying love to Lana Del Ray, and earning some highly sot after Features from Dubstep.net, and ThisSongIsSick.com, which helped propel his music into the ears of larger masses. His success in the EDM blog-sphere online helped launch his touring carrier in late 2012 and early 2013, where he's spent the majority of his time traveling and performing for venues and festivals in cities all across the country, including Ultra Music Festival Miami.
While juggling his touring career, Kill Paris has managed to release a 9 track EP on Skrillex's record label, Owsla, and individually release several other official remixes for artists such as Nelly Furtado, and No Doubt. His most recent release, a remix of Rudimental's "Feel the Love", charted #1 on Beatport's Top100 GlitchHop tracks, and also charted on the overall Top100 tracks for all genres.
Expect a 2nd EP due to release in fall of 2013.
As a vanguard of forward thinking bass music, Antiserum continuously defines the sound of today. Spawned in a laboratory of collaborations with heavy hitters such as LA dubplate warrior 12th Planet, he has found himself continuously at the forefront of bass music's list key players. His releases on Smog Records and Caspa's Dub Police label have established him as a mainstay of sub-heavy music.
Antiserum's ability to inoculate should come as no surprise. His production "Brick Squad Anthem," a collaboration with Atlanta-based music producer Mayhem, has received huge support from the bass community including Skrillex, Diplo, Datsik, and Flux Pavillion. His collaboration with 12th Planet on the Smog City Compilation, "Bass Salt" was featured on Rolling Stone and UKF and his remix of Helicopter Showdown's "Can You Feel Me" reached #2 on the beatport dubstep charts.
Antiserums BBC Radio 1xtra mix is a brief glance into the dynamic nature of his performance, during which he defies expectations of the listener and delivers an injection of what can only be described as the "Antiserum." Upcoming collaborations with 12th Planet, Mayhem, Brillz, and a release on Datsik's Firepower label will likely dub him the patron saint of bass in 2013.
DKDS are rising stars of the NYC underground, night creatures whose main goal in life is to make you stay up too late and dance ’til dawn. DKDS is made up of Scrap and Chris – two tall, dark cousins who hail from Seattle and New York, respectively. The two reunited in Brooklyn over a mutual love of jackin’ deep house and techno and formed a DJ duo; over the last couple years their back-to-back sets have made a serious mark on NYC nightlife, one debauched party at a time. The boys recently caught the attention of MeanRed, who made them residents of their Dark Disco party deep Downtown. They’re also hard at work on original tracks with the edgy-yet-suave vibe that is their signature. Don’t sleep… no, really.
