New Music Series Welcomes:
Family Vacation, Keepers, The Harry Walther Band, Venice Sunlight

Philadelphia, PA, 19130
This event is 21 and over
We play riff rock for the pop punk generation, like if Angus Young and Geddy Lee were in Fall Out Boy. Or if Craig Finn and Carmine Appice were in New Found Glory. That makes it ok for us to drink whiskey with our fans and play guitar behind our heads. Rock and roll!
The Harry Walther Band
Harry Walther - Veteran Singer Songwriter from the Philadelphia area that has been entertaining fans with acoustic shows as well as classic high energy rock shows with the HWB, The Harry Walther Band for last 15 years. Performing a wide scale of classic covers as well as original songs ranging from rock to folk to country rock which Harry calls Rock n Roll but has been label by others as Americana. With the great line up that Harry has put together in the HWB band the live shows never fail to rock the house down.
Family Vacation just had their one year anniversary as a band and also just returned from a tour with co-headliners, Keepers. The four piece quartet balances their band and playing shows while continuing to be full time students at Temple University. They recently released their first full-length titled "Trails" (http://familyvacationmusic.bandcamp.com/album/trails), a great and endearing piece of indie rock music
Keepers formed in the summer of 2010 in Philadelphia suburb West Chester. Since then, they’ve released a full length “bright and poppy collection of loosely psychedelic indie rock” (John Vettese) entitled New Waves to a sold out crowd at their hometown School of Rock. The album, “released right in the nick of time” according to Beach Sloth, has had tracks played on WXPN’s local hour as well as numerous other local radio stations. After the release, Keepers adventured into the Philadelphia music scene, playing at venues like The Fire, World Café Live and Hard Rock Café. They also recently completed a ten day, east coast tour with stops in Boston, Providence, Burlington and Montreal, among others. They hope to release their sophomore record by the end of the year, and continue to play shows throughout the area.
