Pipeline Riot is a psychedelitechtonic quadrafunk band that focuses on playing eclectic thought provoking music. It sounds like funky droning worldliness from a primitive society on the brink of a technical revolution. The four play and write together with the overall goal of sonically transcribing their thoughts, troubles, triumphs, and convictions all the while using that very same music to forget them. Since the Riot broke out in late 2009, they have performed tirelessly in the New England area ranging from house parties and bars to festivals and venues. Be on the look out for their Debut Album releasing this Spring!
Light Bright is an experimental fusion of hip-hop, punk rock, and jazz created to celebrate music and inspire you to shake that ass.
Outbound Audio are an indie rock reggae group from Boston, MA. They formed in February 2013 and are currently compiling songs for their first release.
In the small dusty corner of a dimly lit tavern, Windsor Tree was born as guitarists and long time friends, Sarah Horton and Brendan McGuirk, gathered around a small table to resist closing time over a few rusty tunes and a round of winter ales. Immediately discovering their chemistry, the two began writing, recording, and performing throughout the winter months and continue to expand their musical portfolio. Windsor Tree's style is rooted in the folk tradition, with a hint of rock and roll and splashes of blues, garage rock, and Americana influences that can't be ignored.
Andy Suzuki & The Method
Independent NYC-based band, Andy Suzuki & The Method, recently released their highly anticipated LP, Born out of Mischief. They crowd-funded nearly $50,000 to record and produce the new album with the support of their fans. Born out of Mischief is the band's definitive full-length album — their folky take on rock music today.
The band is fronted by the songwriting trio Andy Suzuki, Jason Gorelick, and Kozza Babumba, two Jewish-half-Asians and the grandson of Grammy Award-winning Nigerian percussionist, Babatunde Olatunji.
The band has been writing and touring since 2008, but in the last year alone, they have had official showcases at SXSW and CMJ, performed at major music festivals in the US, and played shows at storied NYC venues such as Bowery Ballroom, Joe's Pub, and SOBs. In the fall of 2012 they played internationally with a wildly successful 3-week tour in Southeast Asia.
