Hosted by Brooklyn-based comedy favorite Wyatt Cenac (The Daily Show, King of the Hill), Night Train show features comedy from the best local and international stand up comedians, and--at times--special guest appearances by musicians, local celebrities, and the occasional surprise only found in Gowanus.

Eugene Mirman

Brooklyn resident (and Russian immigrant) Eugene Mirman is a really great guy and comedian. Eugene has appeared on television, which is still a relevant medium for another few years. Some examples include: his own half hour special on Comedy Central, appearances on Conan O’Brien, a recurring role on HBO’s Flight of the Conchords, Bob's Burgers, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Home Movies, Lucy, Daughter of the
Devil and the Adult Swim live action series Delocated.

Barry Rothbart

Barry Rothbart is one of the young rising stars in comedy today, appearing recently on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, starring in the new season of MTV's "Punk'd" as well as landing a role as "Ben" on TNT's "Men of A Certain Age". He also co-wrote and starred in the IFC Channel show "Do Whatever", as well as a series of national commercials including: Taco Bell, Honda and Miller Light. He was named a "New Face" and "Best of the Fest" performer at the 2011 Just For Laughs Montreal Comedy Fest as well as being invited to the New York, Boston, and Underground Comedy Festivals. Originally starting in NYC in sketch and improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade he still continues to perform sketch and recently debuted a one-man character show at the UCB Theater - LA.

Doug Smith

Doug Smith is a New York-based comic recently selected as one of the “New Face” at 2013 Just For Laughs Festival. Doug first started in the world of improv comedy in 2006 at the UCB theater, making the leap to stand-up in 2009. Since then his dark material and quick delivery has made him a regular in both the NYC alt scene and clubs across the city. He is the co-producer/co-host of See You In Hell!, one of the city’s most beloved stand-up showcases, recently winning Best Experimental Show at the 1st annual The Creek and The Cave Awards. Doug is also a regular contributor to Laughcake, an online video roast site. When off stage, Doug enjoys curling up on the couch with his cat and a pot of green tea to watch PBS documentaries. He is one of the few known males to suffer from early onset menopause.

Calvin Cato

Calvin S. Cato got his comedic start with the Wesleyan University stand-up comedy troupe Punchline, then transferred his unique brand of humor to New York City in 2006. He’s performed in comedy clubs, off-Broadway theaters, coffee houses, the backs of bars, and even a beauty salon. He appeared on the Game Show Network, showcased on QPTV, performed on the critically acclaimed Naked Comedy Show, and produced an unemployment/recession-themed comedy show at Comix Comedy Club from 2008 to 2010. He has also been favorably reviewed in The Examiner, The Collared Sheep and Inside New York. In 2011, he was a featured act in the North Carolina Comedy Arts festival and was a warm-up comic for the 1st Annual Funny Girls in Film Festival. He is a part of the 2012 Out of Bounds Festival in Austin, Texas. Come catch a high-energy act that promises to never be the same show twice!

Michelle Wolf

Michelle Wolf is a writer and producer on MTV’s Girl Code and was head writer for the 2013 Style Awards on CNN. Michelle was recently named to Complex Magazine’s 50 Funniest Comedians on Twitter with the likes of Steve Martin, Ricky Gervais, and Chris Rock. She is also a writer for Someecards.com.
