Alla Melnik is a virtuoso on the bayan (Ukrainian button accordion), who started playing at the age of seven. At the age of sixteen, she attended Leontevich Music college in Vinnitsa, Ukraine, graduating from Kiev University of Arts and Culture in Russia with advanced degrees in concert performance, conducting and musical education. She
interprets world music with virtuosity and musicality, some of which may be familiar to you, scintillating enough to make you want to dance.

Alla and Göran normally appear as "The YellowBlue". The name comes from the fact that the colors of Ukraine's and Sweden's flags both are blue and yellow. (www.theyellowblue.com)
