An Attic Attack is when an entity attempts to supplant your mind. This Alt/Indie Band is here to Defend individual Mentality from Attic Attacks. Electric Mandolin, Musing Lyrics, Dynamic Rhythm and Vocal Angst join forces to create impressive thought rock. New EP - "Cloud Clarity & the Color Red"!
Singer-songwriter Donny D Rose has been performing in Denver since 2006. While opening for bands, playing at coffee shops, and powering through his share of open mic nights, he looked for opportunities to extend his vision.
In 2009 Rose found Coupe Mikel and they released an EP under the Americana project MY Shadows Existence. After the wavering cast of MYSE dispersed for good. Rose and Mikel were left as a duo. While continuing to look for the right mix of musicians, the two performed as members of the Alan Andrews, Jr. (The Photo Atlas) acoustic side project Serious Moonlight.
By Summer of 2011 Attic Attack was born! Their sound brings the unique tone of an electric mandolin on some sort of mood altering chemicals, warm electric rhythm guitar, and a dynamic rhythm section to complement Rose’s crafty songwriting and impassioned vocals.
Two Fisted Tango
Many of Two Fisted Tango's songs center around both mainstream rock, and classic punk. Sonically they draw inspiration from the Clash, the White Stripes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and the Black Keys.
Local Denver musicians Shawn Duncan, Alejandro Parra, and Joey Boots are the creative force behind Two Fisted Tango. All accomplished in their own right they began playing music together after several previous bands. They stitched together all their interests and styles and two days after their first encounter, a full band emerged.
They have played in the best venues in Denver including Summit Music Hall, Walnut Room, the Marquis Theater, Hi-Dive, Three Kings Tavern, Larimer Lounge, and many more.
The single, Brit Punk Rocka, has been played on 93.3 KTCL, and been included on several compilation albums.
Loud, face-melting, and mind collapsing prog rock from Kansas City.
Anchorage is a band that is always evolving and growing. Since the formation of the band in 2008 Anchorage has always prided themselves on pushing musical limits and combining different styles of music. The band released their first full length album "I Have Seen Further" in 2010, showcasing technicality and a tasteful mix electronic elements in order to create an ambient and still intensely heavy sound. During the summer of 2010 the band endured a major line-up change which put the future of the band into question. With extreme dedication Anchorage decided to continue on despite only having three members, while continuing to play local shows in with numerous fill-in musicians on guitar and bass. In January of 2011 Anchorage returned to the stage opening for Haste the Day's farewell show in Denver. It was the first of many shows Anchorage would play in support of national acts including Protest the Hero, MYCHILDREN MYBRIDE, Scale the Summit, and Stray From the Path.
