Life Down Here
Determined to remain authentic at all costs, Life Down Here is a Los Angeles based quartet, which goes against the grade of contemporary female fronted rock-bands with a sarcastic punk attitude and contagious energy that is evident both on and off stage. Categorically pop-punk, LDH consists of 19 year-old lead singer, songwriter and guitarist Michelle Blanchard, Eli Shkurkin (Bass), Pablo Martins (Guitar), and Tomas Slemenson (Drums).
The group was founded by Michelle in 2011, but her love affair with music began after receiving her first guitar at age eight, a miniature Jackson Surfcaster with lipstick pick-ups. She began writing music soon after, and made a seemingly suitable move for a future rock-star when she dropped out of high school at age 16. While other kids killed time gossiping on their lunch breaks, Michelle chose to finish the remainder of her education at home where she could focus on cultivating her music skills.
Michelle's heart was set on writing music and playing guitar from the get-go, but it wasn't until after she left school that she realized she wanted to sing her lyrics rather than write them for someone else. She moved from Las Vegas to Los Angeles where she met Life Down Here bass player and fellow songwriter Eli Shkurkin at a local rock show. After hearing their demo, Jeff Dennis (Guitar) and Nick Adams (Drums) joined the duo and solidified LDH's line-up.
Life Down Here was immediately discovered by super producer Jay Baumgardner (Evanescence, Papa Roach, Drowning Pool) who went on to sign them to his artist services company, ‘NRG Artists.' After spending a significant part of the year in the studio writing songs with industry heavyweights Marcos Curiel (P.O.D) and Jason Evigan (After Midnight Project) among others, Life Down Here is currently focused on promoting their debut album "The Beginning," and playing live shows. Produced and mixed by Baumgardner, the 11 song album delivers a pop-punk feel with a hardcore edge, and includes a heartfelt tribute to Blanchard's father, who was a great supporter of her music career.
Having survived similar struggles, Life Down Here is an active supporter of the organization "To Write Love On Her Arms," a non-profit organization dedicated to helping those struggling with depression, cutting, suicide and addiction. As driven, talented and captivating young musicians with an uncompromising will, Life Down Here are well on their way to being rock-stars.
Three high school buddies from Redondo Beach, CA formed Colorblind in 2012, and the word was out! Performing in places like The Roxy, The House Of Blues, and their local hangout The Lighthouse in Hermosa Beach, they write and perform original songs that are just plain fun and sometimes a little edgy like "Waste Of Time", "You're Not The One For Me", "It's Not The End", "So Long", and "Go Away". Their show includes some killer covers too by bands like Maroon 5, Muse, and Blink 182.

The Filthy Souls
The Filthy Souls, an indie-rock band hailing from Manchester, England, possess a creative energy that drives their music and electric live performances. Their strength of voice transcends any era classification, while still giving just a hint of their many musical influences. Their obvious appeal to the masses comes from, as the Sunday Telegraph Australia calls it, a mixture of "Part Indie pop and part dirty, sexy rock-and-roll!."
Dave Green (Vocals/Guitar) became a regular on the U.K. music scene, playing everywhere from the small pubs in Wigan, to the auspicious Manchester Academy 3. Crisscrossing the British Isles, hitting the festival circuit, opening for such artists as Tim Burgess of the Charlatans, Finger Eleven and Cage The Elephant. During this time, Green notes, "We were all about the music, not just playing, but making it a part of our very being, and giving that back to the fans."
In March 2009, Dave Green came to the US for a six week club tour. Following the success of the tour, Green decided to relocate to Los Angeles. It was in Los Angeles that Green met up with an old friend from Manchester, guitarist Danny Wagstaff, bass player Mike Meza and drummer, Topher Gale, to complete the band's line up. The Filthy Souls released their debut EP, Save Me in February 2010.
The music of this Brit rock/pop group has been featured on American TV numerous times. The Filthy Souls have been heard on One Tree Hill, Vanished, Mercy, Greek, Pretty Little Liars, Make It Or Break It and The Glades. The band was written into the script for ABC's hit comedy 10 Things I Hate About You.
