Lisa Miller - Emcee
Music has always been a part of Lisa Miller’s life. Growing up in a musical family, there were always instruments to play, records to listen to, and songs to be sung. Lisa has formed, managed, written for, and performed with her bands for over 25 years. She is a successful recording artist who has toured all over the country. Her music has been used in film, and her songs have been sung and recorded by many professionals in the music world.
Lisa has recently begun writing for Broadsheet 360, an online magazine based in Vancouver Washington, and also participates in a very entertaining story-telling event Anecdotal Evidence. Lisa’s current band, Lisa & Her Kin, can be seen playing around the Northwest currently. When Lisa isn’t on stage, she works as a Human resources Specialist for Powell’s Books.
Lisa understands the thrill of having an amazing band back you up and the need to have your voice heard. She is honored and delighted to participate in 20 VOICES 2013!

The Whistlin' Rufus musicians bring a lot of experience to the stage and have roots in Classical, Irish, Folk, Bluegrass, Rock and Roll and Jazz music. When you stir it all together combining their exciting knack for arrangements, their three and four part vocal harmonies, original ballads and toe tapping fiddle tunes, well, you end up with Whistlin' Rufus. The band has been together since 2003, celebrating their 10th anniversary this year.
