Fools and Sages
Fools and Sages is a group of devoted young musicians from Los Angeles, CA. Their passion for music fuels their desire to be the next great band to arrive on the music scene, and they devote every day to writing, rehearsing, and working towards new goals with the band. Ages 18 to 20, the members of Fools and Sages have committed themselves to a life-long career in music.
The band features Santa Barbara’s Lily Eakin on lead vocals/ keyboard/ rhythm guitar, Los Angeles’ Dash Kackert on lead guitar/ upright bass/ background vocals, Santa Clarita's Jeremy Bauer on bass guitar/ background vocals, and Santa Clarita's Chet Nordskog on drums. Fools and Sages came together under the management of Olympia DeCarlo in June of 2012.
Fools and Sages’ influences are a mixture of jazz, classical, pop, and rock, including Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, The Beatles, No Doubt, Funkadelic, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Jamie Cullen, and Mozart.
All members of Fools and Sages are well-experienced musicians and are backed by at least 9 years of training in theory, jazz, classical, and contemporary music. The band’s mission is to create their own identity by combining the musicality and soul of classic rock with the universal messages and styles of current pop/ rock music, bringing new and old together. The band is supportive of all causes and benefits pertaining to other musicians and music, and performs for benefits and charity events that support musicians. They believe in treating music as the world's great unifier.
The PCH Crew
Formerly known as PCH! I, Patrick Rohn, am proud to be from Southern California; I spent many of my early years, listening to all sorts of genres, from Rock to POP, from Hip Hop to Country and everything in between. Music has always been my passion, and now I'm able to express myself with my own unique sound. Growing up in California, I could be influenced by its culture. The beach is where I spent most of my early years and where I first discovered my passion for writing music.
At age twenty, a well-known producer, Rudy Maya, discovered me. After three years of hard work in the studio, Rudy helped me write a number of new songs, which establish me as an artist.
The PCH crew consists of Justin Luszczyk on Bass, Sean Carney on Guitar, and Blake Padveen on Drums. After riding solo for many years, it was evident that I needed a band to make my music come alive. The PCH Crew and I, look to emerge as energetic and a wild performers, expressing our creativity, on stages everywhere.
Galvanized Souls is hard rock band comprised of four Southern California teenagers, whose enthusiasm and dedication to music pushes their abilities well beyond their years. Band members Matthew (bass), Zakk (guitar/lead vocals), Chris (guitar/vocals) and Kevin (Drums), decided to expand their reach beyond Ventura County. Galvanized Souls is working on releasing original music and music videos after catching the eye of Luke Tozour (Grammy Nominated music engineer and producer) and Rockerrazzi Films. Their first professional recording and music videos are set to be released by the summer of 2013 mastered by Grammy winning engineer, Robert Hadley of The Mastering Lab, Ojai, CA.
In addition to the band’s signature heavy sound, one of the most attention grabbing aspects of Galvanized Souls’ performance is their harmonizing arrangements. Since every member is an avid student of music, they excel in their ability to create the complex, rich melodies ever present in their original songs.
