Get Freaky 2013 w/ Zeds Dead & Krewella

DC and Hooks are Zeds Dead.

They first hooked up in 2004 and formed Mass Productions. Influenced by the digging in the crates sampling school of hip hop, Mass Productions released one independent album in the summer of 2007 entitled Fresh Beetz. It was their first and only release.

In the summer of 2009, the two launched their second collaboration - Zeds Dead - turning up the bpm and aiming the bass-lines at the dance-floor. Soon after Zeds Dead (alongside the Killabits) founded a weekly party in Toronto called BassMentality. Guests have included Nero, Skrillex, 12th Planet, Borgore, Mary Anne Hobbs, Plastician, Netsky, and many more.

Two of the hardest workers in electronic music, Zeds Dead's tireless efforts have earned them an excellent reputation amongst a new generation of producers as artists without borders - genres hold no bearing over their music as they transcend style and form with ease. By pulling from a vast array of source material (Radiohead, The Rolling Stones, The Moody Blues, Sublime), and molding it into their unique brand of dance-floor classics, They have established themselves as a dominant force in EDM circles and have received recognition and praise from tastemakers worldwide.

Jahan, Yasmine and Rainman, who live in and create music in the gritty yet artsy neighborhood, burst onto the national stage with their debut video "Killin' It" in early 2012, racking up Facebook likes and spreading virally around the globe via Twitter as EDM fans swooned over KREWELLA's unique brand of dubstep-infused electronic music with catchy female vocals. However, KREWELLA insists that they are just getting started.

"We get pigeonholed into being 'dubstep' a lot, but only one of the tracks on our EP is actually dubstep," says Kris Trindl aka 'Rainman,' beatmaker and one third of KREWELLA. "People like to put us in a box, but we just like good music….if it's between 100BPM to 170 BPM we'll figure out a way to make it work and have a good time with it," the producer and DJ says. "We just make music that we love."

Seven Lions

Seven Lions aka Jeff Montalvo hides out in Santa Barbara, California. With a huge release in the Above & Beyond "You Gotta Go" official beatport remix winning the contests, and charting him at #2 on Beatport's dubstep charts. More recently Seven Lions released a brand new Florence & The Machine - "Cosmic Love" remix, and it is the next level. Jeff Montalvo brings the trance vibe, and the hard hitting drops simultaneously. After getting off the california stops of the UFK tour with Gemini & KOAN Sound, Seven Lions is ready to bring the heat to denver.

Paper Diamond is known for making many different kinds of music. Since the project's inception in January of 2011, PD has found himself on a globetrotting, music making escapade, with non-stop shows, festival plays, and around the clock studio sessions.
The Paper Diamond sound has raw energy and the kind of dramatic anticipation only a seasoned producer can incite. Driving beats and bass grab on tight while deep, rich tones rumble under layers of spacey synthesizers, sweet melodies, and catchy vocals. One thing is for sure. The energy is high.

With one EP and a handful of notable remixes under his belt, PD has been secretly amassing over 100 original songs/beats/instrumentals and is currently working with artists, singers, rappers, and MCs all over the country. The time has now come for an unveiling. Paper Diamond's new EP "Wavesight" is out now on Diplo's MAD DECENT/JEFFREES imprint. The EP features three heavy hitting original tracks that further demonstrate Paper Diamonds musical versatility.

"Wavesight" is merely a taste of what PD has in store. You can expect a slew of new music releases, collaborations, videos, and tour dates.

Co-ed duo from Santa Barbara. Ethan and Josie better known as Candyland have been experimenting with dance music and creating originals since April of 2011. Since then they have made official remixes for Bingo Players and Skrillex, and released music on labels like Spinnin', Play Me, and Big Fish. Recently they have created their own label Sweet Shop Records.

DJ Green Lantern

DJ Green Lantern came to prominence with his "Invasion" mixtape series, the first set of officially sponsored mixtapes from Eminem's Shady Records. On the series, spanning three mixtapes (later to be spun off into the Armageddon series), the DJ broke several diss records, furthering the issues between Eminem and Benzino/The Source as well as the entire Shady camp and Ja Rule/Murder Inc.

He is also recognized as a producer, featuring on his own mixtapes several "Green Remixes," including, most notably, a remix of the Nas and Tupac Shakur collaboration, "Thugz Mansion." He also produced D-Block's "2 Guns Up", an acclaimed street single, which originated as a freestyle rap on his Hot 97 radio show, "In the Lab" (the most memorable of which has also appeared as a mixtape, "The Best of In the Lab"). "In the Lab" is formatted as a one-hour (with commercials) mix show, in which DJ Green Lantern blends a cappella and instrumental tracks from various artists, as well as breaking new and underground music (such as the Ghostface Killah and El-Producto collaboration "HideYaFace").
