Mad Libby

MAD LIBBY is Rock and Roll, Punk, & Power Pop tossed into a blender and turned on high!

We want to play music all year and meet cool people and make some fans and not live with our parents. Anything you can do to help with those four things would be greatly appreciated. Especially the fourth one.

Avenue 17

Avenue 17 is an alternative/indie rock band that started playing together in the summer of 2011. To put it in a nutshell, we love playing music.
Description
The band consists of James Keeney on vocals, Ben Abbate and Derek Melies on guitar, and Ryan Eads on the drums.

The Summit

Forming in December 2012. A powerful new band with beautifully written songs coupled with top shelf musicianship. "TheSummit" has been described to sound similar to My Morning Jacket, Franz Ferdinand, Kings of Leon, Death Cab for Cutie, and Snow Patrol.
"TheSummit" was created from the ashes of Burning Symmetry.R.I.P 06/24/2010 - 05/20/2012
Burning Symmetry was a powerful rock band in the vein of Paramore. Burning Symmetry played their last show on May 20th, 2012 at Aftershock in Shawnee KS supporting Smile Empty Soul and 3 Pill Morning. Burning Symmetry's one full length release called "Imperfections" is available on Itunes, Amazon & CDBaby.
After that show lead vocalist Lexie Jae Althaus decided to part ways with the band. Eric Quatela, Tanner Pinkerton, Michael Edson & Mario Vlasic began a search to find a new female lead singer. After numerous auditions the quest to replace Lexie was abandoned in late August. At that point the decision had been made to begin auditioning male lead singers. This was a big decision because it would inevitably force a change to the bands sound. Mike Hillboldt Jr. who joined the band as the new lead singer and keyboard player. Mike adds a new dynamic to the songs with his great voice and lyrics, his ability to add keyboards to the songs helped elevate the band to a new level. At that point a very long discussion ensued wherein the decision to change the name of the band from Burning Symmetry to "TheSummit". The new direction changed the bands line up from five members to four with the addition of new bass player Keenan Franklin. Come to a show and party with us!
