Doe Eye

Join DOE EYE for a special concert, as rock & lit magazine Radio Silence kicks off a new concert series featuring local bands paying tribute to their musical heroes. DOE EYE, fronted by San Francisco's Maryam Qudus, will perform Arcade Fire's iconic debut album, Funeral. Everyone remembers when Funeral hit the airwaves nine years ago and helped redefine indie rock for the rest of the decade, with its eclectic songwriting, irresistible sing-alongs, and atmospheric instrumentation. DOE EYE will cover Funeral in its entirety, and they'll also play a set of original songs. DOE EYE released her sophomore EP Hotel Fire in 2012, featuring the Magik*Magik Orchestra, and is currently working on her debut full-length record, produced by local legend John Vanderslice. A portion of proceeds from this show will support local arts education.
