Aqueous

Aqueous is a genre melting, funk-tastic groove/rock band known for bringing
high energy shows night after night. Catchy songwriting, shredding guitars, tight
infectious grooves, and spot on improvisation keep crowds dancing right from the
first beat. The songs themselves are adventurous, smartly composed, inventive,
exuberant; the jams and improv sections add immensely to the experience, as
Aqueous heads off in directions heretofore unknown and previously unexplored.
Like all great bands before them, Aqueous breathes as one organism when it is in
full flight.

Their latest studio effort "Willy Is 40" has joined the ranks of their influences-
turned-peers showcasing the band's explosive musical prowess. The album
captures Aqueous' signature live intensity, while expertly displaying the band's
creative and concise song writing. Their live series releases "Live Nugs" have
kept fans waiting for the newest installment of highlights from recent shows. The
quartet has been touring heavily throughout the Northeast and Midwest, riding
high on the momentum gained from playing multiple sets at moe.'s annual end of
summer festival moe.down.

"While the members of Aqueous are all very young, these guys are definitely
the real deal. My advice is to take the opportunity to see these guys now. You'll
want to be able to say, 'I saw Aqueous way back when…'" – Ryan Bartosek,

Meet Tauk, a band that delivers a unique blend of rock-fusion with a fresh experimental spirit. Since forming earlier this decade, the NYC-based group has built an impressive DIY buzz scoring opening gigs for MOE., Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Tea Leaf Green, and sets at Gathering of the Vibes, Hangout Music Fest, Peach Festival with The Allman Brothers and Bonnaroo. Most recently, the band announced upcoming gigs at Summer Camp Music Fest and FloydFest this year.

Legendary sound engineer, Dave Natale (Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac), invited Tauk into his studio in late 2011 to record the band's previous album, "Pull Factors." After touring, the band then teamed up with Grammy-winning producer Robert Carranza (Jack Johnson, Mars Volta) to harness the band's eclectic vision creating entirely instrumental tracks for their new album, "Homunculus." "What's compelling is the raw power of the band, from their light moments to full-out jamming. Music is a language that some feel and others speak – and Tauk do both very well" adds Carranza.

With a new album under their belt and an impressive summer lineup of shows, Tauk plans to continue to push the envelope of their musical vision, and bring that vision to all those who are listening around the country.
