Natural Stranger is a band that isn't afraid to lay it all on the line for the sake of music. Whether they are unleashing a sonic fuzz assault or gently tugging at the heart strings they are honest in what they do. Primary songwriter, Ernest Hampson, has been playing and writing music for over 12 years and has finally found a collective of talented musicians to bring his music into the world. Jino Arielly and Joseph Paz provide the pounding rhythm section while Kevin Sullivan (aka KM Sullivan) sprinkles tasty guitar licks among the sometimes chaotic soundscape Natural Stranger produces. Whether they are your cup of tea or not, one thing is for sure, Natural Stranger is not faking it. The band invites everyone to come get a little strange with them.
Fighting In The Streets
Fighting In The Streets is a fiery band of musicians who utilize jazz improvisation, funky grooves, and smooth showmanship through video game music. We play songs from Super Mario Bros, Sonic the Hedgehog, Street Fighter 2, Mega Man, Castlevania, and more. The band consists of five members including, reeds, guitar, keys, bass and drums. The goal of the band is to play music we have listened to subconsciously as kids and bring to life with new arrangements and pure RAW energy.
The South Side Stalkers
The Southside Stalkers came to be one cold wintery day. It was cold, they were bored and decided to start playing music. It was a good time. So because it was a good time...they decided to continue playing. What started as 3 piece (Brothers John, Luke, and brotha from anotha motha Dan Doyle) quickly evolved into a 6 piece, bringing a slew of musical influences to the table. The Stalkers do not limit themselves to one genre. From The Doors, to Russian polka music, to the glorious sound of feedback, they love all different types of music/noises and it most certainly shows. Live shows are very energetic and if the crowd digs it...even more so. Expect shows to be loud, random break out jams, and love making to the crowd. They've played just about every venue Cleveland has to offer (including Quicken Loans Arena) and have even been banned from one! (FUCK PEABODY'S) Only time will tell where the bright future for this band and its members, collectively and individually, will take them.
