Bro Safari is the alter-ego of DJ and producer, Knick. He's already well-known and deeply established in the music scene as a result of his work with leading American Drum & Bass group Evol Intent. Not to mention, his wildly popular output as 1/2 of the genre-bending mash-up duo, Ludachrist.
While his production work spans the entire spectrum of bass music, Bro Safari has been relentless at pushing his unique take on the burgeoning Moombahton movement. As a result, Bro Safari is currently ushering in a new wave of listeners to the genre and he is set to be an early champion of this new scene.
With support from artists like Diplo, DJ Craze, Knife Party and more, it's becoming increasingly apparent that Bro Safari is someone to keep an eye on in 2012 and beyond.
LA native born and raised producer ETC!ETC! may have spent most of his studio life on the Electro House point, but his transition to Moombahton productions are what have been commanding the most attention from top-notch tastemakers around the globe as of late.
ETC!ETC! gravitates his aural attention onto anything that moves the room. First attracted to Electro house for the big bass and floor-shattering fast-paced BPM, ETC!ETC! started to shift his focus to moombahton in early 2011 and starting to make an impact in the scene almost immediately .
In just the past 12 months he has been played almost on a weekly rotation on BBC Radio 1 by Kissy Sell out & DJ Kapyer ,and the following keeps Growing.
With an eclectic mix of different audio flavors coming out of his arsenal it's no wonder ETC!ETC! has garnered a diverse array of highly-prestigious support from EDM leaders Wolfgang Gartner, AC Slater, Congorock, 12th Planet x Skrillex, Mstrkrft , Dillon Francis, Diplo , Bro Safari & many others.
With multiple forthcoming releases on Mad Decent, Teenage Riot Records ,Party Like US, Rot10 Musik and T&A , 2012 will be a big year for ETC!ETC!
Coming off his 10+ stop summer tour, the 19-year-old New Hampshire native makes his Burlington debut and last New England appearance before moving to Los Angeles in September.
With support from superstar producers Adventure Club, Crizzly, Flosstradamus, and The Killabits, the smash-hit collaboration 'Booty 2 The Ground' with internet sensation UZ, and planned releases on Mad Decent- CRNKN is not only a 'Trap Music' pioneer, but also one of the game's fastest rising producers.
Widely recognized as one of the pioneers of drum 'n bass in the US, Edwin Garro—known to his fans as UFO!—has established himself over the years as a relentless innovator and influencer in electronic dance music. From Shanghai to the UK, UFO! has been producing and performing across continents for nearly two decades, making an impact each time with his music. Celebrated for his quirky, out-of-the-box personality, which undeniably translates into his music, UFO! is recognized as one of the most groundbreaking and influential artists in today's EDM scene. Needless to say, the only thing predictable about UFO! is his unpredictability. Having produced music ranging from jungle to singer songwriter to moombahton to trap, the artist seems never to be satisfied with sticking to just one genre of music. And why should he be? Born into a family of musical people, UFO! from an early age developed a natural curiosity and fascination with varying sounds, styles and tempos.
Currently residing in Los Angeles, UFO! is ambitiously pushing the boundaries of his own musical abilities and is producing with more fire under his belt than ever before. Fueling this fire are longtime friends and fellow producers, including those with whom he has collaborations with such as Bro Safari (Evol Intent), Kuru (Muse/Media Contender) and Mayhem, to name a few.
Discontent with the frequent creative limitations of releasing music with other labels, UFO! sought to create new platform for distributing his own music earlier this year and launched his own music label, China Black Recordings. The label's debut release "Dele Que Suene" featured tracks with LA's own Kuru and Flinch and became an instant favorite among fans. This summer UFO! will release his next solo album, which features collaborations with Kuru, Kial (SubPressure Recordings) and a special remix track from SPL (Smog/HollowPoint).
