Jason Stewart, better known to the world as Them Jeans , is a rare mix of diverse interests and unforgettable presence (he is 6 ft. 8 inches tall after all!). To categorize him as merely another DJ/producer would be to understate his drive and contributions to the current musical landscape in Los Angeles and increasing influence in the global music community. He has been the driving force behind world famous club night Dim Mak Tuesdays at Cinespace for over five years as both a DJ and promoter, helping to showcase acts as eclectic and renown as Justice, Lady Gaga, and Kid Cudi. His well thought out, genre-bending sets (spanning from house music to down tempo moody remixes) have recently seen him gaining recognition from publications such as Complex, Discobelle, and XLR8R, while expanding his fan base through recent touring throughout North America and Europe. Not content with just furthering his musical craft, Jason continues to pursue his other passions in life which include an uncanny knowledge of food showcased through Twittering and continued work as a talented graphic designer who produces much of the artwork for his releases and events. However, at the forefront of all this is his relentless work on new and distinct musical creations.
Them Jeans's passion for a wide array of genres and sounds has found its way into his productions in truly innovative ways. It would be difficult to find another artist out there who can credit remixes by Two Door Cinema Club, Bloc Party, Childish Gambino, Diplo, and Flight Facilities to their repertoire and have it all fit perfectly. While they may seem disparate, all of his music shares a genuine belief in crafting one-of-a-kind listening experiences that look toward challenging people's perception of mainstream music and blurring the line between dance music and every other genre imaginable. Alongside the aforementioned remixes, popular bootleg remixes done for the XX, Rihanna, Kindness, and SBTRKT are garnering national attention and radio play. In 2011, he began to host an all talk, laugh out load, and incredibly informative radio podcast "Tall Tales" featuring guests from Diplo, Lovefoxx of CSS, Donald Glover, Riff Raff, Daedalus, and Brodinski. Them Jeans is keeping on his prolific creative pace with an original EP of uniquely crafted house music due out in early 2013 (Vowel Play on No Brainer Records) and a sea of original music that should only help to solidify him as an artist not to be ignored.

Dirty Dave

Getting bit by the dance bug at age 15, Dave started attending underground DJ driven parties in Baltimore & D.C. to further explore this "crazy new music" to him. It was always "about hearing something new"...something that really excited him. It's with this same sense of adventure he approaches his own DJing today & what sets him apart from those playing "the same old stuff you can hear anywhere." Dave's also dipped his toes into the production waters with an original song "Drowning Doubts" and a remix for A Girl I Know, both of which play on KCRW and beyond in many other DJ's sets.

Laena Geronimo's brain child. Songs written, demos recorded. February 2011 band members were sought out amongst hyper talented musically obsessed friends. By March the resulting six-piece began playing out. Citing obscenely vast influences from the smashing of rocks to Paganini violin solos.
We enjoy sunset walks on the beach, nerding out, and making people excited.

International sensation HOTT MT (Hour Of The Time Majesty Twelve), is an experimental post-pop collective based in Los Angeles, CA. HOTT MT is the result of an ongoing curiosity project between Queen Ashi Dala and Spooky Tavi, which expanded to include multi-instrumentalist Bahd Bad in December of 2011, and guitarist Guitty Dryver and drummer Chairman Towel in early 2012. Thoughts and anxieties about myth, experience, conspiracy theories, and Thailand fuel the groups explorations.

HOTT MT made headlines in 2012 when they drove from LA to Oklahoma City to pay homage to Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips. The trip resulted in a collaboration between Coyne and HOTT MT on the song “Never Hate Again”, and the song "2012" featuring Ke$ha and Biz Markie. “Never Hate Again” was released by Origami Vinyl in August 2012 with an accompanying video also featuring Coyne. "2012" was released as the lead track on the Flaming Lips collaboration album Heady Fwendz.

HOTT MT's debut LP “I Made This” was released in May, and they recently completed work w/ The Flaming Lips on a Stone Roses cover album (release TBD). Live highlights include shows supporting Bat For Lashes, Wavves, Frightened Rabbit, Ra Ra Riot, Django Django, Robert DeLong, Hands, and The Flaming Lips, including their Guinness World Record setting event.

Guns In The Sun DJs

The Guns In The Sun DJs are Matt Pennington, Clay Anthony, Peter Nussbaum, and Latane Hughes. These four celebration enthusiasts started throwing regular parties in West LA a few years ago, where they've since honed their resident skills to the point of being dragged out of their beloved Venice Beach. In recent years the "Guns DJs" have supported everyone from Azari & III to The Black Lips. The range of Artists they've had play their wild parties showcases their flexible and far-reaching musical taste on the decks… having hosted everyone from Classixx to Unknown Mortal Orchestra. Whether they will show up to the club with a handbag of house tunes or with a garbage sack of old soul 45s… we will never know. The only thing we do know is that vibes will be thrown.
