Rahman D’Amato is a singer, songwriter & guitarist.
His songs and performance style showcase a powerfully dynamic, lyrical sense of songwriting that is both moving and relatable.
His expressive singing style and emotive guitar playing creates a sound that is both emotionally charged and relatable.
A resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, Rahman performs regularly at clubs, cafés, festivals, private events and concerts. He was recently mentioned in American Songwriter Magazine for the lyrics of his song Heroin Boy. Three of his other songs, Rearrange, House of Bones & Not You, placed in the semi finals of the U.K. songwriting contest in 2005 and Love Sick Girl received honors from the Billboard Magazine International Songwriting Contest.
Rahman has worked with many talented artists including: Brian Reitzel- drummer with Beck, Air, Fischerspooner and Red Kross. Brad Hargreaves- drummer for Third Eye Blind. Greg Anton & Chip Roland from Zero and the Steve Kimock band. Rob Breszny from World Entertainment War. And many others…
Rahman performs both as a solo artist and with his band. Most recently his band opened for Journey at an outdoor concert in Novato California called Rock & Blues by the Lake.
Drummer - Percussionist - Musician
Tom Finch, a California native and multi-insrumentalist for over twenty years, emphasises electric, acoustic, and synth-guitar. Influenced by rock, funk, blues, and jazz styles, his playing, performing, and composing continue to grow with a creative and energetic force.
A Gulf Coast Music Hall of Fame inductee, Tom has toured throughout the U.S., Europe, Japan and Canada, and is featured on many albums with groups such as Big Brother & the Holding Co., Eyes Open, and Jazz Iguanas. Tom also leads his own group and has played with such greats as Randy Vincent, Mel Graves, Steve Smith, Kai Eckhardt, and Yiri Svaboda.
Tom's formal training includes seven plus years of study in music theory, performance, and education at Sonoma State University, College of Marin, and Mills College.
Tom has taught music privately as well as in school programs for more than a decade and is available for lessons, performances, recording sessions, and other musical services.
