Little Green Cars

Little Green Cars

Taking a cue from the amiable rural rock of the Lumineers, Mumford & Sons, and First Aid Kit, Dublin five-piece Little Green Cars offer up an Emerald Isle take on Americana, employing generous five-part harmonies over a bed of R.E.M. Fleetwood Mac, and Woody Guthrie-inspired country-folk-pop goodness.

Formed in 2008 around the talents of Stevie Appleby, Faye O'Rourke, Adam O'Regan, Donagh Seaver O'Leary, and Dylan Lynch, the band experimented with numerous styles and wrote a mountain of material before inking a deal with Glassnote and heading into the studio with producer Markus Dravs (Arcade Fire, Björk) to record its 2013 debut album, Absolute Zero. ~ James Christopher Monger

Bo & The Locomotive

Momentum is on Bo and the Locomotive’s side. In less than a year, they have successfully created a following out of nothing. Originally a solo project, Bo and the Locomotive has re-emerged as a full band from the city of St. Louis ready to invade. They combine familiar feeling tunes with off-kilter melodies, balancing on the edge of traditional and experimental. They specialize in making you feel happy, sad, apart, and together all at once – making the live show captivating, if not addictive. The band has been on the road this year in support of their self-recorded debut full-length On My Way, released in July. Bo and the Locomotive is on the cusp of notoriety, and now more than ever they seem ready to take on that role. Bo and the Locomotive features Bo Bulawsky, Andrew Arato, Steven Colbert, and Evan O’Neal.
