Climbing the Aggrocrag

Formed in the winter of 2009 in Madison, Wisconsin, Climbing the Aggrocrag brings together a variety of genres to create their own unique of style of jazz influenced progressive metal. Originally founded by Steven Meyer and Braden Reed, they sought after a full line-up. Their good friend Paul Jones introduced them to Steve-O on rhythm guitar with vocalist Josh Becker joining shorty after, bringing
together the original line-up up of the band. Within months, CTA began playing shows in and around the Madison area while eventually expanding, and established their name within the local scene. In April of 2010, they released their first self produced, Self Titled EP and acquired Sam Laitsch on bass. This completed the first full line-up. The fall of 2011 brought Matt Rivas of Stealing Aphrodite to replace Josh on vocal duties, though he left the band on good terms shortly after to pursue life in California. Since then, the remaining four members have been been playing all instrumental shows while continuing to please audiences, due to the technicality of their music. They have also been working diligently on their latest forthcoming EP, set to be released late in the summer of 2012.

Look, I'm Burning

The boys in the Madison-based metalcore quintet Look, I'm Burning are proof that dairy is not the only notable export coming out of Wisconsin. Already having released two EPs and a full length record with producer Joel Wanasek (Good Fight Music, Universal Records) and a new EP due out in Fall of 2012 with producer Drew Fulk (Sumerian Records, Fearless Records), the band is poised to take the nati
on and the world by storm not only through their extensive recording experience but also by their pulse-pounding live show. "We all want to make music our lives," bassist/singer Matt Tyler said in a recent interview, "We had to wait a long time before we played shows because we wanted to come out sounding the very best we possibly could. We all have the drive and dedication to give 100% of ourselves to our craft". With hundreds of shows and two Midwestern and East Coast tours under their belt, the band's patience has paid off.

Fault Line Empires

Fault Line Empires is a five pack of explosive, metalcore-infused punk rock hailing from Milwaukee, WI. FLE formed in the brew city out of necessity and a desire to create when previous projects dissolved and airwaves were left void. The five friends decided to join forces, not unlike super heroes banning together to battle evil, an evil known only as silence. With the void now filled, Fault Line Empires brings its hybrid sound to the masses in the form of their first independently released EP entitled, "When Kings Kill Heroes". You're in for an extravagant live performance of sight and sound. This is OUR radio, this is Fault Line Empires.

Acridore is a Progressive Death Metal band from Madison, WI. With dynamic, epic song structures and a wide range of sounds going from soft and melodic to harsh and brutal, Acridore sets itself apart from the rest of the scene. If you're looking for something different, check it out!
