Jay Brannan

Jay Brannan

A Texas native turned New Yorker, Jay Brannan is an authentic, solo singer/songwriter
who loves to sing, loves to travel, and writes from the heart. He has been playing his
sweet & sad folk songs—tempered with a healthy dose of humor—all around the globe
since 2006.

He also appeared as an actor in John Cameron Mitchell’s indie film sensation Shortbus,
in which his song “Soda Shop” was the highest selling song on the film’s soundtrack
album (released by Bright Eyes’ Team Love Records).

Brannan has released a string of albums, all of which topped the iTunes
Singer/Songwriter & Billboard Heatseekers charts: goddamned, produced by Will
Golden (Meiko, Michelle Branch); In Living Cover, a collection of 2 originals & 7 covers,
recorded from a bedroom in his friend Drew Brody’s Brooklyn apartment; Rob Me Blind,
produced by the legendary David Kahne (Regina Spektor, The Bangles, Paul
McCartney, etc.); Around the World in 80 Jays, a collection of 9 international cover
songs spanning 6 different languages; and Always, Then, & Now, his latest full-length
album of originals.

Brannan’s touring has taken him multiple times around the world, throughout the USA,
Canada, the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Portugal,
Sweden, Norway, Greece, Brazil, South Africa, Israel, and Australia. He returns to the
road (and sky) this summer to perform new songs, as well as old favorites, in what he
has informally dubbed the "OK, Seriously This is The Last Tour" Tour

Jarrod Dickenson

"Texas-born songwriter, Jarrod Dickenson's slightly spooky melodies and lyrics invoke a mid-Western post-war America, when cars ran on leaded gas, television hadn't yet kidnapped the country's imagination, and men wore hats every day. His reflective lyrics, almost like hand-written letters, remind us that human stories of lost love, sudden fortune, and abiding mystery transcend the decades...and nothing is better or worse right now than it's ever been."
