A 17 year old Germantown Academy High School junior from suburban Philadelphia, Ashley Leone has hit the local music scene running. Having already performed many shows in the area’s biggest venues with national touring acts, Ashley is already a seasoned performer. This past summer Ashley signed with Live Nation to entertain before concerts at The Susquehanna Bank Center for a great list of artists such as: One Direction, Demi Lovato, Big Time Rush, Motley Crew, Kiss, Kelly Clarkson, The Fray and Drake. Ashley's creative lyrics and soulful melodies make you wonder how such a young woman can come up with such deep, meaningful and mature songs stacked on top of the heartfelt passion she delivers in each performance. It's the same feeling that keeps you wanting more even after she's left the stage.
Based out of Philly suburbs, Dry Reef’s versatile sound has been classified as a reggae/rock/jam band genre with a setlist full of originals similar to that of O.A.R., Jack Johnson, & G Love.. The band has sold out the upstairs stage at World Café Live, & consistently brings an insanely loud crowd of mostly high school & college kids who know all the words. These kids are just fresh out of high school or still in it, and they are sure to be heading to bigger better things with their unique songs & immediately dedicated fan base.
This 12-year old from Philadelphia has accomplished so much already as a professional musician. His YouTube page has over 684,000 views, and he has performed some of the largest venues in PA & NJ, under his solo name “Alex B” or with his band “Lil Rock”. He will be featured artist on a widely known national TV show later this year, as well as working with some of the world’s most widely known producers.
The best part of Alex’s attitude is that his goals are still to get straight A’s in school, and do the rest for fun. Now that’s a kid who deserves it all!
With an industry immersed in power pop, slick production and samples, samples, samples...It is great to see a pure
rock and roll band perform live and light up an audience. It’s even better when that band is all 11-13 years old. With impressive sellout shows at The Bitter End, The Count Basie Theater, The Stone Pony and The State Theater, plus an ever growing legion of fans, 2013 belongs to GIFFORDS LANE.
Giffords Lane opened for Macklemore and Ryan Lewis at this years Skate and Surf Festival, Quiet Riot in Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Arena, Disney's R5 (Austin and Ally), and the X-Factor's Carly Rose Sonenclar.
Giffords Lane recently released two videos on YouTube. Their mash-up combination of Adele's 'Skyfall' and Led Zeppelin's 'Kashmir', and the mash-up of Rihanna's 'Stay' and Led Zeppelin's 'Ramble On' received over 750,000 YouTube views!
