MORRISSEY 25: LIVE
Live Nation and Specticast are proud to present a very special screening of the first authorized Morrissey film in nine years. MORRISSEY 25: LIVE celebrates 25 years of Morrissey as a solo artist and depicts Moz’s most intimate gig in decades at the famous Hollywood High School. Tickets to the concert in the 1,800-seater school auditorium were sold out in 12 seconds. This now legendary concert became Morrissey’s penultimate performance on the US Tour as he played only once more before he was forced to cancel his remaining dates. Performing classic tracks from his prolific repertoire, this now legendary concert was captured on March 2, 2013 in front of his most devoted fans.
The film opens with fan tributes talking about their unwavering devotion to the singer and the unique appeal of this unusual venue – a striking contrast to the sold out arena concert at the Staples Center on the previous night. Featuring many classic tracks from the artist’s prolific repertoire including Meat Is Murder, Everyday Is Like Sunday, Please, Please Please, Let Me Get What I Want and The Boy With The Thorn In His Side, MORRISSEY 25: LIVE is a not-to-be-missed cinema event for all Moz fans.
