Inept Hero was formed back in 2007. Four guys got together in hopes to win a battle of the bands at Mesa High School. So what happened? well, they didn't win first- but came in second and Five years, and a lot of work later, they have turned into four amazing artists, and one very talented band creating and fine tuning their unique sound of punk rock, reggae, and a little bit of hard core.
The Venomous Pinks
The Venomous Pinks is a trio of girls, ready to break the rules. As one of the only all girl punk bands in the Phoenix area, they make no apologies for their killer stage show and party hard, but play even harder antics. Influenced by Joan Jett and The Ramones, these three talented musicians channel a unique sound that is rock and roll meets classic punk. With Drea Doll on guitar/vocals, Suzy Trai...nwreck on bass/vocals, and Jewlz on drums, this trifecta of musicians will intoxicate you with their tantalizing talent, high energy, and no holds barred attitude. With their salacious sound, they've cultivated quite the following, causing crowds to line up at local shows. Putting on a presentation that showcases their gregarious girl power, this band leaves audiences wanting more. You can find these vixens performing at local venues almost weekly, as they are one of the most wanted girl bands in The Valley! Signed to May Cause Dizziness Records, this threesome is well on the way to becoming one of the hottest bands around.
SkullDrug was formed in November 2010 in Phoenix, Arizona.
Their diverse musical backgrounds and experience has helped them to fuse styles like Country, Funk, and Jazz to the constant, catchy south west Punk/Metal base they have throughout with direct influence from the 80's hardcore and metal cats, with SkullDrug's overall message being THINK.
THE COPYRIGHTS are a pop punk band formed in Carbondale, Illinois in 2002 in Carbondale, Illinois. Arising from a scene Drummer Luke McNeill said at the time 'had a lot of Indie rock bands with a lot of pretentiousness, and no good punk bands.' Five records later, they are touring the country under a buzzsaw hail of guitars and non-stop hummable melodies. Tune in, turn on, and singalong...
You probably know this much already: TEENAGE BOTTLEROCKET (or simply "TBR" to their fans) is currently one of the hottest bands in punk rock and their new record on Fat Wreck Records, "They Came From The Shadows," is highly-anticipated. Few things are more exciting than a young band with a great new record on a new label. Their booming, seemingly-sudden popularity is reminiscent of bands like Against Me! and Gaslight Anthem, so who knows what to expect next from these upstarts. If their unhinged live show is any indication, it won't be for lack of trying. So stay tuned and expect nothing but continued success from these punk rock bandits. For fans of The Descendents, JFA and The Dead Milkmen!
The Queers are a pop punk band from New Hampshire, formed in 1982. Singer/Guitarist/Songwriter Joe King has been the principal member of the group, with a vast number of musicians cycling in and out of the band over the years. Supposedly, the band name 'Queers' was used simply to poke fun at what he called the "Art Fag" community in NH. That same brand of humor and inanity has become a staple of The Queers music. While some punk rock bands attempt to use their music to impart a social or political message, King has made it clear that The Queers exist simply to play punk rock for the fun of it.
The Queers play a Ramones/The Beach Boys style of pop punk with songs about girls and beer. King has often collaborated with Ben Weasel, from Screeching Weasel. The band begun with a notoriety primarily in their own backyard, but with the release of Love Songs for the Retarded, recorded by legendary punk producer Mass Giorgini, their following grew to international proportions. They have collaborated with Mass Giorgini several times since.
Their latest release was 2010's "Back to the Basement" on Asian Man Records. After many lineup changes, with King being the only constant, the band has found a lineup that has been together for the last five years and have no signs of slowing down.
Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, No Gimmick has played countless local shows, as well as brief stints in L.A. and Mexico. They've shared the stage with Marky Ramone, Authority Zero, Punk Rock Karaoke, Something Corporate, Guttermouth, CKY, Pour Habit, Sugarcult, Rufio, Ten Foot Pole, Against All Authority, Mr. T Experience, Jughead's Revenge, Antifreeze, Riddlin' Kids, Civet, Bionic Jive, Stereotyprider, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Fred Green, Trik Turner, Tickertape Parade and also played Warped Tour '02.
BE LIKE MAX
Formally known as Everyone Meltdown, Be Like Max is a Las Vegas based Ska/Punk band. With an explosive sound, catchy horn melodies, and edgy attitude Be Like Max's goal is to produce something they can be proud of. As said by front man Charley Fine "We don't give a fuck what the scene, venues, industry, or other bands think of our music. We're not here to impress anyone, we play for ourselves."
