The Bushwick Hotel
The Bushwick Hotel came together in the summer of 2012 when Gregory Ferreira (vocals/guitar/keyboard/percussion) was recording his second solo album, Graffiti of the Young Man’s Mind, in his Bushwick recording studio, Live By the Sword. Gregory started playing professionally at the age of nine in Boston, playing with multiple bands over the years, including The Chainletter, which was nominated for a Boston Music Award. Being an accomplished producer and sound engineer, Gregory moved to Brooklyn in 2006 and started Live By the Sword Studio. While in Brooklyn Gregory has played in Missing Ships, recorded his first solo album, The Suitcase Album, done session work, and has produced music for local musicians that range from jazz to hip hop. In his typical fashion, he serendipitously assembled a band of local Brooklyn musical misfits including Matt La Von (tenor, alto, and soprano sax/clarinet/background vocals), DB Tamir (bass/background vocals), Rudy Temiz (slide guitar/background vocals), and Ben Teters (drums/background vocals). What resulted from a crazy summer and a straight month of cohabitation and recording at Live By The Sword Studio is a truly original contemporary interpretation of a rock album and a strong bond between band members of which most of whom had never played together before.
The Morning Crazies

DINOSAUR WARLORDZ started playing music in their ancestors cess pool over in 15272738384 A.D. They evolved their skills in the post-victorian America before being labeled witches and fleeing to Nigeria where their magic was appreciated. It was there they honed their abilities playin in seedy clubs under mosques and at jungle raves. Before long they started hearing voices and under the guidance of these voices made their way to the slums of Staten Island to continue their journey. It was there during a weird moon and through the peircing glare of the black dogz it was declared "DLZ iS for the chidren." And so it is now written. Enjoy a cosmic giggle bitchez
Joshua Louis was born and raised in the picturesque mountains of Virginia. The youngest of five children, Joshua always commanded a presence in the spotlight – a true entertainer from the start! Joshua has a zeal for music and began mastering the piano at a young age, and for a brief stint experimented with the trumpet and French horn.
Joshua studied all genres of music through grade school and college, and has trained in both classical and contemporary piano.
He began his performance career in church at the age of 14 and was leading the church choir in music and song by the age of 17! It wasn’t until Joshua won an audition to perform at his high school graduation that he found himself singing for the very first time in front of a very large audience. It was at that precise moment, in front of thousands of people, that Joshua became enlightened to his yearning to be a performer.
While at Virginia Tech, Joshua continued his endeavors in music, headlining as an entertainer at various venues. His performances have always showcased his original songs, which come from the heart of a soulful artist.
Currently residing on the scenic shore of Jersey City, this singer/songwriter, pianist and board-certified Veterinary Oncologist (oh yes, he is a cancer doctor for animals!...), derives inspiration from everyday life to create melodies that are both tangible and touching.
Although Joshua (Dr. Joshua!) currently works as an Oncologist at BluePearl Veterinary Partners (NYC Veterinary Specialists) in New York City, he also aspires to become an accomplished artist in the music industry. Joshua has a strong drive and passion for life, as evidenced by his noteworthy accomplishments.
Joshua has worked with Producers Ted Cruz (Instant Culture Music) and Dennis Michael Keefe (Tumble Dry Music).
