Last Chance to Reason

Since 2005, Maine's Last Chance to Reason has been an ever-evolving musical force with one goal: to make challenging progressive music that moves people. After 2 releases and countless diy tours, Last Chance to Reason has completed their most ambitious work to date, their Prosthetic Records debut "Level 2." Teaming up with producer Jamie King (Between the Buried and Me, The Human Abstract), the band set out to create a modern take on the classic progressive concept album. Drawing influence from 70's prog of King Crimson and Yes, composers Steve Reich and Schoenberg as well as prog-metal masters Opeth, Dream Theater and Cynic, LCTR's "Level 2" takes the band in awe-inspiring new directions. Set in a Tron-like virtual world, the album's concept revolves around the relationship between man and technology, our move to from physical reality to virtual spaces and what these changes mean to our lives and our art. The lyrics are expressed from the point of view of an artificial intelligence facing the violent reality of a videogame world. Not content to simply release the piece as a musical endeavor, LCTR has teamed up with acclaimed indie developer Tom Vine and pixel artist Francis Coulombe to create a fully interactive version of the album in which the story unfolds through LCTR's thematic riffs, stirring vocal hooks and progressive virtuosity while the player blasts his way through viscous gameplay inspired by classics such as R-Type, Contra, and Super Metroid.

Evan Brewer (OF THE FACELESS)

I'm a really regular person who loves playing music. I use a bass guitar as my preferred tool to create. I have 4 cats and an awesome wife. I also play in a band called The Faceless. I have another project called Climaxes that has yet to be released. I'm always looking for new, exciting, musical opportunities so please feel free to reach out!

Last Nail Driven

Last Nail Driven formed in the Spring of 2009 by guitarist, Dominic Jannuzzio and vocalist, Chris Swincki. Over the last couple of years, the band has played a good number of shows and has had many members come and go. Ever since the Summer of 2010, the band came to a sudden halt when original drummer, Nick Jannuzzio moved away. However, the band recently acquired drummer, Dan Gagnon (ex. Internal Fear) in the Winter of 2010. With the acquisition of Dan, the band is now progressing dramatically and is now able to play shows again.

LND is a 5 piece Progressive-Metalcore band hailing from Delaware. They draw influences from All That Remains, Within the Ruins and other countless national artists.

Toothgrinder was created in 2010 by a group of local young kids wanting to hit the music scene with something heavier, broader and more inventive than had been previously done by each musician in the past. Toothgrinder resides in Asbury Park, NJ and has recently won Best Heavy Rock Band (2010,2011,2012) and Best Drummer (2011) by the Asbury Park Music Awards.

On July 22nd, 2011 Toothgrinder relea...sed its first official EP "Turning of the Tides", recorded at The Hang Zone, engineered and produced by Paul Ritchie, and mastered by Roger Quinn. The album is available for download on our Band Page.

On December 21st, 2012 Toothgrinder released their sophomore record titled "Vibration/Colour/Frequency". The record was mixed and recorded by The Parlor Mob's Paul Ritchie and Mastered by established DJ Roger Quinn.

Toothgrinder is ready to explode onto the stages of local venues. We are looking to play anywhere and everywhere at anytime, so please message with show opportunities.

We hope to be the unstoppable force in the music scene that everyone wants and desires from a band. With that, we have one last message for you:

LIVE TO GET RADICAL!!!

ALAYA stand apart from many Progressive Metal artists today, fusing punishing technical rhythm with a genre defying melodic style.

For it's three founding members the decision was clear when committing to raw and innovative songwriting, ignoring the distraction of traditional debut release ethics.
Two years of composing and self-recording culminated with thirteen songs carving their respective p...laces into the full length track list of the band's first album, 'THRONES'.

The only demo made available was re-posted by acclaimed metal websites, receiving overwhelming positive feedback and attention from thousands of people overnight.
This secured some major endorsements and caught the all-seeing eye of progressive metal gurus BASICK RECORDS, who signed ALAYA in 2012.

With new objectives and the development of a key team, ALAYA will offer 'THRONES' to the masses the way they intended. No filler and no compromise, just the brutal melodic story of two years of hope and struggle, and a new sound in Metal.
