His multi-cultural background and extensive fan base has afforded him multiple opportunities to perform around the world including Canada, Europe, and all over the United States. Through his diverse upbringing, though always true to real hip-hop, R-Mean breaks international barriers through his music like no other artist.

With a flow reminiscent of Nas and Eminem, his life experience sets him apart from the sea of artists. R-Mean is a hero of adversity with a distinctive background: born in Los Angeles, he was raised in Amsterdam by a single mother. When R-Mean was one years-old, his father succumbed to an ill-timed death due to medical malpractice. Growing up he faced the dark challenges and oppression posed to minorities.

Eventually he moved back to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams. Using college as a means of moving to California, he enrolled in classes hoping to get signed before ever finishing school. Instead, he ended up graduating from UCLA and even went on to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Loma Linda University. After analyzing his life, he decided to quit healing through medication and instead heal people through what he feels is the best medicine in the world, music.

It was in LA that he met a producer who went by the name of Blind; together they formed the label “Pentagon Records.” As Blind was heavily involved in the LA gang-banging scene, he fell victim to a drive by and was shot in the face, chest and back. Though he survived, he completely lost his eyesight.

Over time, the crew expanded to comprise a fully functioning team of producers, managers, and promoters, whose efforts caused a noteworthy buzz in the LA underground scene. After a while however, things started falling apart as the crew gave up on the ultimate dream of success. Left alone to question the future, R-Mean and his manager, Alex Kodo, fought through the hardships to rebuild the label from bottom up. Focusing on the positives despite the difficulties of the crew breaking up, the brand became stronger than ever.

R-Mean is armed with a strong and loyal fan base that never fails to show how much his music touches people's lives. He is honored to have received fan mail with heart felt testimonials and pictures of people bearing tattoos of his name and lyrics. Currently he is working on his most ambitious project to date, entitled “7 Deadly Sins,” scheduled for a Fall 2012 release. The first single “Lost Angels” features multi-platinum artist The Game.

The Dirty Diamond

Once in a blue moon a rock band comes along that can change the landscape of the genre itself, forging a new direction of space and time. The Dirty Diamond is this band. Blending a sweet mix of classic American and British infused rock, pop, and Eastern influences, the band takes you on a transcendental musical journey. Their authentic, melodic music creates a vast space in the theatre of the mind and heart. Witness the onstage energy of The Dirty Diamond and see for yourself why there is so much buzz surrounding this band.

The Dirty Diamond was formed by singer/songwriter Sam Babayan in 2006 and instantly became a crowd favorite, performing to packed houses in all the well known venues in Los Angeles. This activity stimulated the release of their self-titled debut CD in 2008. Soon after, the band caught the attention of LA based producer Matt Pszonak and work began their sophomore release.

"Our Divine & Sovereign Mother” was released to a sell-out crowd at the Troubadour in January of 2011. From the Eastern-tinged opener ‘Calendar Expires’ to the lush ballad ‘Death Won’t Hurt’ Sam and company have taken rock and roll to new and exciting heights. Listen for yourself and experience ‘Brand New Vintage’.

The band consists of Sam Babayan (Lead Vocals, Guitar), Narek Pogosyan (Bass, Vocals), Nick Maybury (Guitar), and Shay Godwin (Drums, Vocals).

Devoted to the band and each other, Clepto was formed in 2000 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The four members of the band found themselves in the Middle East as their families moved there for employment. Fred and Phil, two brothers originally from Cyprus, with Armenian and Lebanese ethnic backgrounds, adopted Canada as their home in 2002. Canada is where both Alex and Nick were born and lived before leaving home for Saudi Arabia. Alex, a Portuguese-Canadian, Montreal born Punk Rocker and Nick, a Greek-Canadian, Winnipeg born Metalhead both lead the way with their lyrics covering everything from culture, global issues, religion, to personal conflicts and psychological reflections of themselves within society. Together, with a sing and a bounce from Phil and Fred’s Mediterranean melodic bass and drums, they all complete Clepto.

The Midnight Coal Company

The Midnight Coal Company met in the fall of 2012, introduced by their mutual friend Adam Drexler. Guitarist / Lead Singer Adam Stackpole, and Violinist/Vocalist Patrick Tatten had been collaborating since the summer, writing several songs. Although they had a strong following, it wasn't until mid January that drummer Blake Padveen's chose to commit himself fully to MCC, bringing bassist Hunter Craig to the fold. A week later Hunter was a proud member of The Midnight Coal Company. The band, now complete, instantaneously became an unstoppable musical machine.
