Bo & The Locomotive

Bo & The Locomotive

Momentum is on Bo and the Locomotive’s side. In less than a year, they have successfully created a following out of nothing. Originally a solo project, Bo and the Locomotive has re-emerged as a full band from the city of St. Louis ready to invade. They combine familiar feeling tunes with off-kilter melodies, balancing on the edge of traditional and experimental. They specialize in making you feel happy, sad, apart, and together all at once – making the live show captivating, if not addictive. The band has been on the road this year in support of their self-recorded debut full-length On My Way, released in July. Bo and the Locomotive is on the cusp of notoriety, and now more than ever they seem ready to take on that role. Bo and the Locomotive features Bo Bulawsky, Andrew Arato, Steven Colbert, and Evan O’Neal.

Zorya

Zorya is an acoustic trio comprised of the Vonder Haar sisters, Violet and Tara and Phylshawn Johnson that formed in the Spring of 2012. The girls form a beautiful landscape of sound with the variety of acoustic instruments they play effortlessly. At any given time you will hear acoustic, electric, bass and baritone guitar, mandolin, fiddle, ukelele, and keyboards. All three girls have distinct songwriting styles that compliment each other when played together. Between Tara’s witty, catchy ukelele tunes, Violet’s introspective lyrics and floating melodies and Phylshawn’s unique rhythmic and complex chord changes, there’s something for everyone.

Paper Ceilings

Folk/punk/whatever from Columbia, Missouri. I like stringed instruments and choruses that go "whoa-oh-oh."
