The Sacramento, CA-based alternative pop band Oleander comprised singer/guitarist Thomas Flowers, guitarist Ric Ivanisevich, bassist Doug Eldridge and drummer Fred Nelson Jr. Named for the poisonous wildflowers growing throughout the Northern California region, the group debuted in 1996 with a self-titled EP issued on the Fine label; the full length Shrinking the Blob followed in mid-1997, launching the local hit "Down When I'm Loaded." The record's success landed Oleander with Universal, and in early 1999 they resurfaced with February Son. A third effort Unwind was issued in early 2001
Descendsion was formed in 2005, throughout the ten year period they have seen their ups and downs looking for the right lineup.
After reforming in 2010 vocalist James Keller & guitarist Brian Davies worked with various musicians while building their fan base. In 2013 drummer Gary Stewart joined the group and the energy grew, in 2014 bassist Aaron Glosser joined the group and they were off to the races. Descendsion is a Hard Rock group based out of Weirton WV/Pittsburgh Pa area who's Energy and message leaves the audience wanting more! They have shared the stage with many national acts Trapt, Fuel, The voice of Creed Scott Stapp just to name a few! The future is bright for Descendsion & their army of fans!
