Lotus has crafted a unique musical style outside of simple genre limitations. On a given weekend the band could be the only group with guitars at an all electronic music festival and then the next night crash a traditional rock festival with their dance heavy beats, synths and samples. Equal parts instrumental post-rock and electronic dance, the band's distinguishing feature is the ability to maintain a decidedly unique musical voice and remain current while bucking passing trends.
No matter what the venue, the energetic joy and catharsis of a Lotus show is infectious. The band slowly built a devoted fan base through steady touring and the crowds have grown at an increasing pace. This grassroots growth has made the band in high demand for festivals including Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, Ultra, and Rothbury and earned the band sold out shows at the country's premier theatres and clubs.
Chicago's electronic rock stalwarts Future Rock continue to pound out pulsating beats with the verocity of a 70′s era rock band. Outside of hometown Chicago, they may be best known for high profile and excellent remixes of Daft Punk, Neon Indian, Black Moth Super Rainbow and DFA 1979. Back home they are justly celebrated for legendary performances such as their set at Wicker Park Fest that turned the entire neighborhood into a vast and energized dance floor, forcing even the palest and most resolutely hard-to-impress hipsters to call up their inner dance monsters. Live performances combine loops, samples and Mickey Kellerman's keyboards with Darren Heitz's drums plus Felix Moreno's Larry Graham-style bass slapping to create an enormously powerful groove. Their light show is as good as their music, and their set have been known to inspire dance frenzies.
If you can move, Orchard Lounge will back you up: from the dance floor to the couch.
OL is the DJ collective of Spencer Lokken, Bethany Briscoe Lokken, and Ben Silver. Since they met in Chicago in 2000, this versatile trio has enlightened dance floors from Mexico to Maine with their highly unpredictable and eclectic sets. From headnodic downtempo & boogie to ominous and ultramodern house & tech, theirs is a democratic mission: to expose as many people as possible to the artists whom they admire and respect, create unique dance floor memories, and to cross traditional boundaries of turntablism/improv/electronic fusion.
What sets Orchard Lounge apart from other selectors, however, is that you won't always find them in the club. They've built a reputation over the last decade as a hard-touring festival act and set-break crowd favorite, frequently supporting live bands. All three members have a deep-rooted passion for live music, which has allowed them to experiment with a variety of different types of DJ sets when performing on stage.
Consistently labeled as risk takers, the members of OL aren't afraid to clear a room if they genuinely believe in and appreciate the record. That said, they take their title as tastemakers very seriously and are constantly looking for new ways to engage even the most discerning of crowds. They have an interminable work ethic and while they cherish their underground roots, from day one they've been determined to bring the art of deejaying to the forefront of popular culture. Their goals are slowly being realized as they've had the rare opportunity of performing at world famous venues such as Red Rocks, the Pritzker Pavillion in Millennium Park, and New York's Hammerstein Ballroom
Zoogma combines the sonic diversity and precision of a DJ with the excitement and immediacy of a five piece rock group. Known for their energetic performances and retina pleasing light show, the band consistently dishes out heavy-weight beat-driven dance parties across the nation. Sets are kinetic, combining live improvisation with carefully crafted beats and melodic textures.
With the release of their debut album, Recreational Vehicles, along with a relentless tour schedule, the five members have already added their unique voice to the live electronic-rock scene. Evolving in Oxford, MS, Zoogma's sound can be described as an eclectic fusion of Electronica, Rock, Jazz, World, and Hip-Hop. This blend of genres results in a musical experience that appeals to a range of audiences, with a sound that is refreshingly original yet steeped in the dance music tradition.
Sharing the stage with acts such as Perpetual Groove, Pnuma Trio, Big Gigantic, Eliot Lipp, Keller Williams, The New Mastersounds, and Ozric Tentacles, Zoogma is poised to captivate you.
A hypnotic boom of sound packed with odd meters, psyched out tones and beautifully spooky melodies. "philly's secret weapon" A.D. AMOROSI CITY PAPER

The Manhattan Project
The Manhattan Project is a forward thinking electronic duo that has exploded on to the scene.
