Joe Trainor Trio
The Joe Trainor Trio returns to World Cafe Live’s Upstairs Live on November 14 to celebrate their 7th anniversary. JT3 (with Joe Trainor on vocals and piano, Kevin Niemi on bass and Jeff Dement on drums) has been a mainstay on the Wilmington and regional music scene since 2007. Since then they’ve released two albums (‘Drive’ and ‘Twelve Stories’) and have pleased audiences in Wilmington, Philadelphia and New York with their unique brand of piano driven rock.
They will be performing material from both albums as well as selection from their forthcoming release. Kicking off the show will be new-comers The Rogue Whiskers with Gable Music Venture’s Jeremy Hebbel on guitar and Christine Holmes on vocals.
Fooling April hails from the Philadelphia Suburbs. Since 2002 they have been making albums, touring, and have reached a moderate amount of commercial success with song appearances on on an episode of ABC’s “All My Children”. They also have opened for John Mayer, Dido, Ari Hest, Fastball and other national acts. But even with an impressive resume’ behind them, they showed that they are still good natured locals who play a sweet piano driven, Beatles inspired brand of pop rock.
