Meet Pacific Dub: Comprised of vocalist and rhythm guitarist- Colton Place, lead guitarist- Bryce Klemer, bassist- Ryan Naglich, drummer- David Delaney, keyboardist- Justin Quaress, and audio engineer- Casey Eubanks; Pacific Dub is one of the youngest and newest bands to solidify themselves as professionals within the Reggae-Rock scene.
Coming from Surf City USA, Pacific Dub resides in Huntington Beach which is nestled nicely in southern California's Orange County. Other bands such as Korn, The Offspring, Avenged Sevenfold, and The Dirty Heads all have members that call this surfer's paradise home.
Combining catchy chorus's, heavy rock n' roll guitar melodies, and smooth hip-hop and reggae rhythms are all significant characteristics that add to Pacific Dub's coastal vibe, and genuine objective of creating innovative alternative-rock-reggae while sharing a message of love and peace.
Pacific Dub has released 2 EP's and 2 Full Length studio albums, since their introduction into the music scene in early 2009. Their most recent album, Tightrope LP, released on June 26, 2012 and debuted #1 on iTunes Reggae Charts. In support of Tightrope, Pacific Dub headlined their first national tour in the summer of 2012, which also included their first headlining show at House of Blues- Anaheim with over 850 tickets sold. In addition, the band performed 83 shows in over 30 states in 2012, supporting many national acts, including- Matisyahu, Dirty Heads, Collie Buddz, Pepper, and Tomorrows Bad Seeds.
In 2013, Pacific Dub started the year in style, headlining and selling out the world famous Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles, CA on January 5th, the first Saturday of the new year. Starting January 25th, the band will hit the road again, visiting 11 states on the Winter Heatseekers Tour in support of Iration. Following Winter Tour, PDub will provide direct support to The Expendables on the national "Life's A Beach Tour". Summer 2013 will include select dates on Vans Warped Tour, as-well-as a national headlining tour. More details coming soon.
From the entire Pacific Dub family, we thank you for your continued support, and look forward to releasing new music, and seeing you at a show soon.
SIDEREAL is an ambient reggae/rock band with roots in Jacksonville, Florida. Founded in May 2009 during a simple jam session, Colin Paterson, Lukas Costas, and Niko Costas began writing a full flavor of reggae music inspired by various musical styles ranging from funk to alternative. They began playing local shows, developed a loyal fan base, and relationships with local venue owners.
In 2010, SIDEREAL released their first EP, East Coast Blend. The single, ‘My Hydro’, received airplay on Jacksonville’s 107.3 Planet Radio station. In September, SIDEREAL released their debut self-titled, self-produced, and self-recorded full-length album. They began playing shows across the Southeast and began to be nationally recognized in the reggae/rock community.
The next year brought only more recognition to SIDEREAL. The Pier magazine named SIDEREAL their “Artist On the Rise.” They were then given the opportunity to play the Blackwater Music Festival with Girl Talk, EOTO, STS9, and The Flaming Lips. SIDEREAL continued touring the Southeast with bands such as The Supervillians, The Expendables, Pepper, and Iration. As their music, stage presence, and fan base continued to grow, critics claimed “SIDEREAL’s live concert guarantees you an amazing atmosphere paired up with music that will leave you tingling from head to toe and memories of an unforgettable show.”
Now it’s 2012, and SIDEREAL continues to gain more attention and create fantastic music. After the release of their latest single ‘Before I Go’, they filmed their first music video that premiered in May. Since then the band has been in the studio working on their next album ”On the Rocks, which explores the past, present, and future of reggae rock. They are continuing to play shows throughout the year for their ever-growing fan base.
Our Philosophy of Vibes:
Sound is composed of vibrations that travel through both air and the objects surrounding it. When Ovibrations reach the ear, they are commonly interpreted by our minds as “music.” However, in the right combination, these vibes will also evoke subliminal physiological responses. This is because every cell will move to the groove, bump to the bass, and sail with the sounds.
Isaac Newton, a slightly more intelligent man than us, once said, "Do not all fix’d Bodies, when heated beyond a certain degree, emit Light and shine; and is not this Emission perform’d by the vibrating motion of its parts?"
What he means is that subtle amounts of light (and heat!) are emitted when powerful vibrations occur. These lights are our way of brightening up a world that is commonly viewed as dark and desolate. It’s the manifestation of our minds, souls, and, of course, bodies.
We represent Orlando and all of its awesome people. From the rocks to the trees, to the people that we please, we are the Ovibes- a pleasure to meet.
